Caribbean American Baking Co Introduce
For residents across the Illinois region, particularly those in the diverse and culturally rich North Chicago area, Caribbean American Baking Co offers a unique and essential culinary experience. This establishment is not your typical neighborhood sweet shop; it successfully operates as both a dedicated **Bakery** and an authentic **Jamaican restaurant**, providing a distinct fusion of flavors and products rarely found elsewhere in the 60626 zip code. The blend of fresh baked goods with the savory, authentic taste of the Caribbean makes it a highly sought-after destination.
The primary draw for many local patrons is the bakery's commitment to delivering high-quality, authentic Jamaican savory treats, most notably their famous **patties**. These convenient, flaky, and flavorful pockets—available in varieties like savory beef and vegetable—have generated passionate reviews and high demand among local users, often becoming the reason for repeat visits. In fact, customer feedback highlights just how popular these items are, noting periods when they are unavailable online, underscoring their authentic appeal and local popularity. This indicates a business that is truly focused on delivering quality products that resonate deeply with the community.
The operational model is built around speed and convenience, perfectly suited for the busy Chicago lifestyle. Services include both **In-store pickup** and **Takeout**, allowing patrons to quickly grab their favorite patties, baked items, or specialty Caribbean beverages without delay. The planning feature of a **Quick visit** is supported by efficient payment systems, which include modern options like **Credit cards, Debit cards, and NFC mobile payments**. However, as a factual note for preparation, local users should be aware of a helpful tip from repeat customers: it's wise to carry cash as a backup, just in case of any temporary technical issues with the card system. This preparedness ensures a smooth transaction and guarantees you won't miss out on those highly desired Jamaican patties.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I think I expected too much coming here. The patties were just okay…the jerk chicken and beef patties tasted the same to me. Maybe their other food and dessert selections are better. 🤷🏾♂️Side note: come with cash just in case their WiFi system goes down and you aren’t able to pay with a card.
August 21 · AtlasI recently tried the patties here (both the beef and the vegetable) and absolutely love them! Unfortunately, they haven't been available to order online for several days. I called the bakery to order directly and was flatly told they're not available, and if they are, they'll be online,. Bring back the delicious patties for lunch!
July 16 · Roni BlackburnI went to Roger’s Park to see someone then I stopped by to get a dozen beef patties because I haven’t been there since almost 1999 and I was craving the patties and I remembered how good they were and they were still delicious
August 14 · Michael OlimeneI am absolutely horrified and disgusted by what happened at this restaurant. On Friday, July 18th around 4 PM, I was about to be served by a short woman (around 5’4”), with dark hair and light skin — I didn’t catch her name. I literally caught her spitting in my plate before trying to hand it to me. This is one of the most revolting things I’ve ever witnessed in a food establishment. This behavior is beyond unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of hygiene, professionalism, and basic human decency. I left immediately, furious and sickened. I can’t believe a place like this is still in business.Avoid this restaurant at all costs. If this is how they treat customers, who knows what else goes on behind the scenes.
July 19 · Boluwatife ObafemiEveryone here is rude. The male, the older lady and the younger girl. Every time I come in here they are always rude and never welcoming. The younger girl always has an attitude every time you ask her a question. They all act like they hate their job. The patty’s are not even freshly made. They are frozen and they just put them in the oven. There are many other Jamaican restaurants around the area with better quality food and better customer service. Don’t waste your money on them.
