Its unique blend of authentic Moroccan cuisine and classic French pastries is a significant draw, providing a culinary journey that is both exotic and comforting. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely loved this place but unfortunately it’s been a miss lately over the last year or so. The food quality has gone down by a LOT. My family and I were disappointed with the bastillas we got today. There seemed to be an off taste in both the chicken & fish bastilla but especially in the fish one. It tasted like they used old ingredients and left a bitter taste in our mouths. We took a couple of bites and had to throw it out because it was so bad. We really loved the food before, but I think there’s been a change in the kitchen staff and the quality has changed. I would steer clear of the savory options! I really hope to see a change in the food quality because the service and restaurant itself was great but the food’s been off
May 15 · Safaa EljananTried Casablanca Pastry for the first time yesterday. It was AMAZING! We tried the Greek Salad, it is a little different from a traditional Greek Salad, BUT it was delicious! We were able to see the chef prepare it and he did so with care and attention. We also had the mixed grill, which was sooo favorable, the meat was moist and cooked perfectly. The steak and cheese sub was on a great toasted roll. We brought home cookies that were delightful with tea.Visited again on 7/5/24Tried the lamb couscous and it was phenomenal. The meat was extremely tender, the couscous was perfectly cooked and the vegetables has so much flavor. The food here feeds my soul!
July 05 · Sarah CooperSo friendly and delicious food and tea.I wanted to try Chebakia, because I know it’s special for Ramadan and Ramadan just ended. Thankfully they had some! Super sweet. Not my favorite item. But they made unsweetened mint tea for me, and I enjoyed the chicken and beef pastries.Apparently there will be a full kitchen of foods within the next few weeks, so I’ll have to come back to try!
April 13 · Kristy JohnsonThe best pastries in town! Took a pistachio croissant roll to go and warmed it up in the oven absolutely perfect not too sweet flakey crispy smooth pistachio butter one of my favorites desserts.
June 05 · Layla ReeseUpdate: looks like the interior has changed and it is more like a restaurant now with more seating. The butcher shop is probably gone too. The pastries are still amazing! The mango mousse with chocolate was heavenly.Love the pastries. If you have to try just one pastry, ask for the "Opera Cake", but everything I have tried has been excellent so far. There is also a unique grocery store with a wonderful selection of spices and middle eastern options, and even has a butcher shop in the same shop. I stop by at least once a month and the staff is always friendly. This is a great spot for trying new foods that is located between Pollo Royal and Zuzu Momo. Highly recommend it.
