★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been going to Crème Brûlée since Cynthia, the owner, opened the first location and have since become a big fan of her sandwiches. Her warming smile always makes me feel welcome. The new place is cozy. There is a couch where you can just sit and chitchat with your friends. I went there for the French Fridays event with my friends and we had a great time. And the food was amazing. One of my friends ordered the soupe à l'oignon. She is herself a chef and couldn't help but ask Cynthia for her recipe. I had the steak frites sauce moutarde, and everything was cooked to perfection. I took home some pastries and a couple of baguettes because I had guests the next day, and it was a hit. Her galette des rois was one of the best I have had in a long time.
February 03 · Alphonsine P.What a delight! The owner, the decor, the food! We were warmly greeted by the owner and introduced to the Sunday Brunch menu. I chose the salmon and spinach quiche and my friend chose the Quiche Lorraine. Both came with well seasoned potatoes and flavorful ratatouille! The quiche was moist and tasty with a handmade flaky crust! It was a very satisfying meal! The coffee was strong and smooth. I had a cappuccino with oat milk. It was great! There were thoughtful touches around the cafe. I loved the record player and the albums along the wall near it!!When we arrived at about noon the place was empty but soon after a nice stream of folks came in and out. It never got too crowded though. I know that will change as the word gets out! I will definitely return!
March 22 · Sophia Flot-WarnerI stumbled across this great new place recently that offers authentic french baked goods that are absolutely delicious! They have other french dishes and dessert offerings as well. I walked in to the beautiful aroma of fresh baked pastries and was greeted by a very nice woman with a French accent. She explained that she was the owner and made all of the many fine pastries herself.I had to partake in this parade of baked goods that she had displayed so lovely. I chose 3 types of pastries, all of which I could not pronounce correctly 🤣. However, they were all absolutely delicious! I had an espresso as well made by a beautiful, sophisticated, shiny machine. There aren't many French places on that side of town, and I love that this spot is bringing more diversity to the community. Stop on by!
January 25 · P.J. DéMarksLove it ! I’m looking forward to seeing the place in full effect next month complete with Sunday set menu options. Today we devoured the turkey lasagna with salad and garlic bread, and breakfast croissant. We’ve long awaited this small local business’s return since the announcement of their relocation as we die hard Francophiles know she’s the real deal.
July 24 · Sandra Chengowned and operated by a lovely woman from Paris, this charming little nook served up some tremendous potatoes au gratin and a delicious turkey lasagna made with bechamel. The lasagna also came with a side salad. I thought it was good value for the money and would go back. i’m already wishing I had another order of those potatoes.
