★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Will try again and hopefully be able to edit my review, but for now I am a bit disappointed with this bakery/restaurant. I wanted to love this place because it is a new establishment in my neighborhood but I think they need more time to get set up. I know they struggled during covid and then moved locations and are trying to get it going again. They moved into a commercial building that used to be a church and when you walk in, it definitely smells like an old musty church. Once you get downstairs to the bakery, it is clean and set up cute. My husband and I went in for brunch as they do advertise serving breakfast and lunch on their Facebook page (but have very limited additional information online, like hours, menu, photos of food, etc. which is frustrating). We were the only ones there so it was a bit awkward but we tried to make the best of it and chat with the owner a bit. She was friendly but seemed a little unsure like she doesn't have a good flow or system in place, yet. She was all alone with no help. She gave us the menus, turned on some music, and got to work making me a breakfast sandwich with home fries, and my husband got the BLT. I will say the homemade asagio herb biscuit is delish!!! The home fries were pretty good, too! The bacon was thin and the egg was overcooked - kinda like what you might whip up at home. It was fine, and affordable, and fast, so we ate it up. We got a lemon square and brownie to go from the selection of goodies at the counter. Will try again in a few months!
July 27 · Angela KelleyWe love your food and would recommend you wherever we can! Your cupcakes are to die for! Your broccoli cheddar soup was SO GOOD! All the ladies loved it! Thank you so much. They loved their sandwiches also!
February 07 · Amber Mattoon3.5 stars. This place reminds me of a school or church bake sale. Its in an older building and unfortunately, the odor of the building is pretty awful and I really cant see being able to sit and eat bc it is so musty. That said, the proprieters seem very earnest and nice. I personally think it might be better for them to sell out of a home via a website vs wasting funds on a retail space. I got a muffin. It was ok.
July 03 · Ides of March BStopped by and picked up several flavors of cupcakes and thought there was a good variety of options to choose from. I’d highly recommend the strawberry vanilla cupcake along with their muffins, they are delicious! I will be back to try more desserts in the future.
December 29 · Lauren MGreat sap bucket cupcakes for our wedding! My husband makes maple syrup so everyone loved them. Thank you!!
