★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Well for 5 dollars a donut, I wanted to be blown away…Don’t get me wrong; the donut I ordered was not terrible but, I had a high expectation for a warm more unique or an elevated donut. The donut I ordered was room temp and average, tasting similar to to a LD donut stick. Was very cake-like. Would go good with a hot drink coffee or tea. Maybe I ordered the wrong one.We came and we tried.
May 09 · Tonya Johnson-JenkinsThese doughnuts are not nearly as bad as a lot of the reviews say. They are actually quite amazing as is the cinnamon bun they have. The biggest knock here is the prices in my opinion.Definitely worth a look when looking for a sweet treat.4/5. Will be back next time we're in DC.______________________________________________________Follow me for more reviews, tips and photos!
August 10 · MJGHad a great experience here, the donuts were good but the highlight was the service by Rich - he was so friendly and kind and made the experience feel much more personal and welcoming. Really enjoyed the brown butter and peppermint donuts!
January 19 · Samuel ShiaoThese donuts are only so-so. Creative, but in terms of quality and taste they are leagues behind the gourmet donuts you find in other cities. The kids complained that their donuts were dry. My partner found the coffee undrinkable, and he will usually drink just about any coffee. Overall this place is not worth the money compared to similar donut shops in other cities.
September 16 · Claire BThis small chain shop on the waterfront features some very high quality pastries with beautiful waterfront views. One orders from the limited selection at the counter and pays - only with card for now- right there and off you go. There is seating inside and outside, and of course, you are on the wharf - so you can take your donut/roll and go sit by the fountain or the fire - whatever! The quality is very nice but the price - 5$ seems a bit high, albeit not unexpected for waterfront dining.
