★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The older guy that runs this place is outrageously disrespectful and racist. The first time he asked me if im chinese or korean out of nowhere when I was paying. Second time i ran into him again, he randomly blurred some chinese word he thought he knew to me. This kind of behavior is extremely disrespectful and wild to me considering this is NYC and so close to Brooklyn’s chinatown. Also both times the food objectively wasn’t good. their bread is very dry and tres leches way too sweet
November 04 · ALTheir bread is great! Their staff is friendly, and they get the job done. Gracias for the mini Conchas, Pan de Muerto, and Monitas (red bread). My students definitely tasted the real Mexican bread flavors.
October 28 · Nain MerinoFreshly made bread but they don’t offer much variety. Almost the same basic stuff everyday. And día de la roscas was super packed and very organized. They should’ve done one line for those who were picking up and one line for those ordering. Idk if they did that but if they did, there was no sign or anything.
January 17 · JennI do love their freshly baked Mexican bread but, now they don't offer more variety. Just basic breads like conchas muffins cookies cuernos teleras. They don't even do the "fancy" type pastry/dessert anymore like orejas or the filled cones. It's also frustrating to buy here, it says they open early and they don't they just lift their metal gate but lock their door. You'll see the bakers inside and they just wave at you saying it's closed. They have a little sign saying they'll be back at a certain time and even then it's still closed. If you're lucky they're open good just sucks that when you're inside they don't even have that much bread and won't have any till later. That's when it seems that they are open around 6pm till 8pm with SOME fresh bread.
September 25 · Yessica PenaGreat local bakery, bread is fresh and taste great especially when you get a first go at the ones that just came out the oven!
