Food is always yummy, but you need to get receipt. You will get robbed. Menu is deceptive as the show you cash pricing in bold and credit price next to it in light font. Not very customer focused. Lox is $46 a pound. Somehow more expensive than wild caught smokehouse price. I will be taking a break from this place

Solid Eatery, Bagels are good, limited Deli meat selection but they cover the bases with quality Brand, Breaded chicken cutlets are actually crispy and they wisely halve the breast giving you a better crisp to chicken ratio. Smash burgers are great, Breakfast Fare: egg sandwiches, omelette platters had no complaints. Overall the folks that work the counter are nice but don't look to chat about the weather their usually very busy with orders, the menu is limited as opposed to say a diner but in my opinion the breakfast goods/Lunch fare here tasted way better than any diner in the area. The pricing menu has a cash and credit split but instead of seeing this as a rip off or something shady keep in mind that most places just post the credit covered price for everything and don't give a lower choice for cash, but note it anyway, I didn't think they were hiding it, but if you feel like a great detective in noting it, God bless.

The atmospheric and the food was great. Bagels aren’t as warm and fresh as their location in the Bronx….hard to beat.Ample seating. No high chairs so just a heads up. Plenty of options. Ask for light milk when ordering an iced coffee.Service was rushed. It was our first time at this location and the gentlemen assisting us seemed frustrated that we didn’t know exactly what we wanted.

Stopped in for a bagel, left with bagels, salads and sandwiches! Great atmosphere, great choices, the only thing that wasn’t great was the staff. There was a sandwich that didn’t have a description so I inquired and was told the # of the sandwich on the board rather than just tell me what was in it (there is absolutely no other people waiting for assistance so he could have simply stated the ingredients). He was equally unhappy when my friend ordered their sandwich as well. Maybe he had a bad day and I’m going to chalk it up to that because otherwise, I probably wouldn’t go again . But!!! The young lady that rang us up was the opposite, she was very sweet.

I tried Empire Bagels for the first time this morning and was quite satisfied. I chose the french toast bagel w/ butter, a chocolate chunk cookie, and a hazelnut coffee. The bagel and cookie were fresh and delicious. I also appreciate that they use coffee ice cubes! My drink never watered down and was made perfectly.
