★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I stopped by Feldman’s Bagels recently. The food? No complaints there, the bagels were fresh, and the ingredients tasted high quality. That said, the prices are definitely on the high side, which might be fine if everything else matched that premium standard. But here’s the thing: you can tell a lot about how a business runs by checking the bathrooms. Unfortunately, Feldman’s really dropped the ball there. There was no hand soap, no paper towels, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Even worse, there was dried feces on the outside of the toilet bowl and water-damaged drywall near the toilet. It honestly felt like a health code issue waiting to happen.Great food can only go so far. If you’re charging top dollar, the basics, like cleanliness and hygiene, should be a given. Hope they take this seriously and clean things up.
July 16 · Adam NoelThis location has gone down hill badly. The place is dirty all the time, went in to get a breakfast sandwich and watch the guy behind the counter build the sandwich on a dirty and gross cutting board. He never changed his gloves from touching ever surface they had in there and then grabbed my egg from the steamer. I asked for a refund and told them to stop making my food and they couldn’t give one without the help from the boss, who has to be called, this location needs some guidance from the owner or someone other than a cook.
May 11 · Sarah NahodilWent on a Sunday late morning. Wife ordered a Bagel flavor that they had sold out of, no issues with that. She changed to a different flavor as well as a different cream cheese. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with mine toasted. When we received our bagels she had the wrong cream cheese. I had the wrong bagel and it was not toasted. The egg was a very small pre-made puck looking thing that was cold. There was little to no cheese. When we left I went up the throw away our trash, which was most of the food we paid for, i could clearly see the sandwich station. There was loose food all over the prep area and on the floor. This is where they make your sandwich? The tables had not been wiped down and the carpets were very dirty as if they had not been vacuumed in days. Will not be back.
April 06 · Bob BBagels are good, but they are small, which is fine. But $14 for a veggie sandwich on a small bagel is absurd. I didn’t realize until I after I paid that each additional veggie I chose was $0.95. Unfortunately wildly expensive for the volume of food.
June 16 · Mallory StaskusFeldman’s Bagels is already a gem in St. Albans — but if you go on the weekend, it’s a whole different experience. Their Weekend Crew brings the energy, the efficiency, and the good vibes every single time. Service is fast, friendly, and feels personal in the best way.The bagels? Always fresh, always fire. Sandwiches are stacked, and the coffee is strong enough to get your Saturday started right.Massive shoutout to the team behind the counter — especially the weekend squad. You guys make this place what it is. Keep killin’ it. This will be our new go to spot!
