Hello Good Pie Introduce
For those of us who live in Maine, there’s a special kind of warmth that comes from discovering a local, family-owned business that truly pours its heart into what it creates. We cherish places where the quality is evident, the atmosphere is inviting, and you feel a genuine connection to the people behind the counter. Right here in Belgrade Lakes, we are incredibly fortunate to have just such a spot: Hello Good Pie. This delightful bakery isn’t just a place to grab a treat; it’s a destination that promises homemade goodness and a truly charming experience.
Hello Good Pie is a testament to the dedication of a husband and wife team, who are the talented bakers behind the delicious offerings. It’s a small shop, which only adds to its intimate and personal charm. In fact, one customer fondly recalled the owner's son ringing up their order, highlighting the true family-run nature of the business. This personal touch is something that truly resonates with us Mainers, as we value supporting local families and appreciating the care that goes into their craft. It's the kind of place you might have been meaning to visit for years, and once you do, you'll wonder why it took you so long.
And what about the products? The reviews speak for themselves. The cookies, for instance, are described as "excellent," and the coffee sampled was "great." What truly stands out is the customer who said, "We wanted to try this place for at least the last 10 years on our way up or down to/from Sugarloaf, but the timing wasn't right. Finally got to stop by and though we didn't win the big Mega Millions we got a prize for out palate." This vividly illustrates the long-standing reputation and the incredibly satisfying experience that awaits those who finally make the stop. Sharing their purchases with others, everyone "loved them," indicating a consistent quality that delights all who try.
But Hello Good Pie offers much more than just sweet treats. Beyond their excellent cookies, they also provide "homecooked style baked goods, ready-to-warm (cold) dinner pies and desserts." This versatility is a huge plus for locals, making it a convenient stop for a quick lunch or a comforting dinner solution. Imagine picking up a delicious, ready-to-warm quiche that is described as "Amazing" and fits a budget – that’s the kind of practical and high-quality offering that truly benefits our community members. This expansion into savory options makes Hello Good Pie a comprehensive solution for various meal needs, not just a dessert stop.
The atmosphere itself is a highlight. Reviewers describe the building as "warm & colorful" and the staff as "kind." This creates an inviting environment that feels both quaint and welcoming. The presence of an "outdoor patio set up, out front, that offers tables with sun umbrellas and chairs" provides a lovely spot to enjoy your purchases, relax, and take in the charming surroundings of Belgrade Lakes. This attention to creating a pleasant experience, from the moment you arrive until you leave, truly sets Hello Good Pie apart as a beloved local establishment.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It is a small shop family owned shop with Husband and Wife bakers. The son was there ringing people up when I was there. The cookies were excellent and the coffee I sampled was great. We tried two of each in the display window and everyone we shared with loved them. We wanted to try this place for at least the last 10 years on our way up or down to/from Sugarloaf, but the timing wasn 't right. Finally got to stop by and though we didn't win the big Mega Millions we got a prize for out palate. Good to finally stop by and hopefully can time it again next year. The owner did mention if you order she can leave the order out back.

October 23 · Christopher “Chrisgro” IsgroComing back here tomorrow for the Polish doughnuts!! The lemon pepper chicken soup we tried today was wonderful :)
October 19 · Sofia Shut'koThis place is super cute! I got coffee's & breakfast sandwiches. They have cold brew coffee, and lots of different food items. Breakfast & lunch items. (Not Sure About Dinner) Homemade pies, Lasagna & plenty of sweets....Donuts, Apple Fritters, Muffins and many more. The parking is weird. You park on the sides of the road. Inside is super small, only 5 customers at a time. But there is so many options of food. So you order your food outside, An you wait outside at one of their tables for your name to be called through a small window when your order is up. Cashier was super friendly and cheerful. The breakfast sandwiches & coffee were very good.I would definitely recommend to stop in if your in the area.
July 20 · Sis BitchFaceStopped on our way home to grab a couple breakfast sandwiches. Got some raspberry shortbread and a mini cheesecake as well. The food was delicious, however the wait time was a bit much. Waited over half an hour for 2 sandwiches. Cute little bakery that we will likely go back to some time, but it is not a place to grab a sandwich if you do not have an extra hour to kill.
