Bread, both gluten free and good old fashioned bread. Sour dough, rye, grainy you name it. special treats per season king cakes, hot cross buns. Bunny cinnamon rolls etc. And coffees! I stopped in for lunch and had a delicious turkey/ lasagna soup and 1/2 chicken cranberry salad sandwiches on sourdough! So yummy!

Drove half hour today, first time here.. very cute shop, bought the blueberry loaf.. came home cut it right down the middle, no blueberries.. (see photos)blueberries are on the outside of this big loaf, counted 10 of them..not worth 9.xx.. loaf was chewy but not bad tasting.. no expiration date on the outside of packaging.

We were delighted with this gem of a bakery. The ONLY reason it get four stars is because one of the MANY tasted was a raspberry cinnamon roll. It had seeds which changed the texture. We also purchased the sourdough bread , cinnamon walnut roll, caramel apple, and bread dipping oil. The service was friendly.

What a great shop. A friend and I stopped in lunch he got the Philly on sour dough and I got the Italian Grinder. Both sandwiches were amazing. I also bought a sourdough starter. They have jars of ingredients to make cookies, even gluten free cookies. They also have gluten free breads already made for purchase. House of Bread is a wonderful local gem that truly lives up to its name. I’ve tried a variety of their offerings including the raspberry swirl bread, raspberry roll, Grandma’s white bread, sourdough bread , cinnamon roll, chocolate chip cookie, gluten-free chocolate chip cookie, and Noble Coyote brand coffee which is a local roaster located in Dallas. I also tried two of the sandwich options one was the veggie sandwich and the other was the pizza grilled cheese sandwich, my favorite sandwich was the veggie sandwich. My son had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and loved it.What stands out most is their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients without cheap fillers or preservatives. The breads are flavorful and wholesome though occasionally a bit firm if not baked that same day, which is expected with preservative free baking. I’ve learned to time my visits with their baking schedule to get the freshest, softest loaves.The service is always friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting — like a cozy mom-and-pop deli. The shop is clean and also offers a charming selection of extras like local honey, jams, tea towels, sourdough starters, pizza dough, olives, and pickled veggies.Prices are reasonable considering the quality and care put into their products. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for freshly baked goods and a welcoming local experience.
