La Diana Tortilla And Bakery Factory Introduce
Introduction / Overview: The Heart of Authentic Utah Mexican Cuisine
In the culinary landscape of Utah, where fresh, high-quality Mexican ingredients are paramount, La Diana Tortilla And Bakery Factory stands out as a foundational local business. Operating from its location in Salt Lake City, this establishment is more than just a bakery; it is a dedicated manufacturer of authentic, fresh corn and flour tortillas and one of the most highly praised sources for tortilla chips in the region. Unlike standard retail bakeries that focus on sweets, La Diana's specialization in the cornerstone of Mexican cuisine—the tortilla—fills an essential need for both local families and businesses across the state.
While the business is structured as a factory and wholesale operation, supplying many local markets, carnicerias, and restaurants, it also provides a convenient retail takeout service directly from its Folsom Avenue facility. This direct-to-consumer access is a fantastic opportunity for local Utahns to purchase the freshest product possible, often still warm from the press. The reputation of their products precedes them, with customers from outside of Utah even seeking out their high-quality, flavorful, and durable tortillas. Their blue corn tortillas, for example, have been hailed as "some of the best tortillas I’ve ever had," noted for their perfect size, impressive strength to hold substantial taco fillings without breaking, and great value—qualities that are the hallmark of a truly authentic product that crisps "perfectly on the comal."
For those in the Salt Lake Valley who appreciate true Mexican flavors and the difference that a fresh, high-quality tortilla makes in any meal, La Diana Tortilla And Bakery Factory is a vital local spot worth knowing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I live just outside of Denver, CO and recently bought this companies blue corn tortillas at a local carniceria. Honestly they were some of the best tortillas I’ve ever had. They are the perfect size to be able to make a good size taco to fit the carne, rice, beans, queso fresco, cilantro, guacamole, onion and salsa, and they don’t break when you’re eating them which I love! 2 of them and you’re set-such a great value. They sold out within a week and I’ve been looking everywhere for them. I bought one of the last packs of yellow corn tortillas they had and those were also delicious. They crisp perfectly on the comal. Big fan of this company!
