★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Was introduced to this place by one of the guys from work a while ago. It was hard finding good tamales and menudo when coming to the IE from East LA. But I highly recommend this place for their tamales and menudo. They usually have Mexican breads in their show cases but I've noticed they've been holding back on the bakery items since the pandemic. I usually visit this place on Sunday mornings before my day starts and before the games start. Plan on getting there early cus everyone buys them out for their Sunday football breakfast. I recommend their tamales, menudo and a side container of their refried beans. In my pic I show their tamale and beans but the menudo (not pictured) was on the side. I added the scrambled eggs to my Sunday breakfast.
October 18 · Daniel GutierrezThis local Bakery has great tasting Mexican Bread(Pan Dulce). We really enjoy their variety of Tamales so good and hits the spot.Around the holiday make sure to make your tamale order early because they sell out. Update: currently they have discontinued their Sweet Mexican Bread(Pan Dulce).
November 03 · D DogsterI went Saturday Sept 24th 2022 this past weekend. I have had lots of menudo throughout my years and this is the first place where the menudo tasted so artificial like they were running out and they just added more water and probably some KNORR Seasoning powder and Powder Paprika no Guaguillos in the Caldo to give it flavor also they didn't have no Pata it was just the scalded meat tripe which is a Menudo the Caldo actually tasted like Caldo de Grano or Hominy it was pretty nasty I'm sorry I've eaten at many other places which I am not going to name but this was really awful Menudo also I was disappointed that you have to buy the onion🧅/cilantro🌱/sala🌶lemon🍋I was VERY disappointed these are ingredients that go together it's like buying tacos and they only give you the the meat on the plate with no tortillas!!! First place where they sell these must ingredients to go with Menudo anyways not coming back let me know that was nasty and NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN MENUDO👎👎👎👎👎
September 28 · GPIt absolutely wouldn't be Christmas without these fab tamales! The jalapeño-queso tamales are the best, but no matter what kind, they never disappoint. Call ahead to make sure you get what you want. They will make them fresh & steamy to walk out the door.
December 24 · NancyL Clark-CarlsonDrove in from Redlands, menudo was a little spicy but delicious highly recommend there menudo. Take your own pan with a lid, it's pick up eat at home, tortias and condiments are sold separately but the menudo was a fair price and way worth it, we will be back. It is San Bernardino do eyes open all the time.
