tamales
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What a lovely little establishment. Bread and pastries line the wall of this small store. We ordered 2 tamales and 3 pastries for under $10! Portion sizes are out of this world for the amount you pay. Everything we ate was delicious, and after using the utensils and serving trays, the lady wiped them clean while wearing a mask. Very impressed and recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth.

January 20 · François ClemenceauJust came to this place. Very good bread, however I’m more concerned with everything else that happened. First I saw that they only accepted cash, which made me have to go next door to an ATM to get cash as they didn’t have one.I was there with my family, we picked out bread. Probably one of each because we love Mexican bread. We also got drinks. As the girl was ringing me out I noticed she looked at my hand where I had the cash I just got from the atm next door. $40 to be exact. My total jumped from under $25 to over $40. I had no problem paying it. I gave her the money, however I asked for a receipt. She hesitantly said ok and started looking through the receipt. Then she said she made an error. Instead of returning me the cents she would owe me from my $40+ balance. She returns me over $10 and doesn’t give me a receipt. I don’t really care about the receipt. I just wanted her to know that I knew she was overcharging me because she saw the cash I had on hand.Moral of the story: watch what they charge you.
January 12 · Francela Delgadoi love Mexican bread! After studying abroad in Mexico city, i make sure to stop by any Mexican bakery i come across ! i live nearby and saw the bakery after picking up my Chinese food nextdoor. it was very authentic and yummy mexican bread! i had the cheese empanada and the vanilla concha . very yummy, and very cheap for the quality. the owners are a married couple who make the bread just the two of them which is soo cute to me. will be coming back to try the tamales they sell in the morning. they were sold out when i stopped by at 1 in the afternoon.
April 03 · ari bloomThe bread is really good! My family and I always come here to get some bread and sweets!Sadly, I paid to get a costume cake for my mom’s birthday as a surprise. I asked for it on the 10/28/20 for the 11/01/20 at 3pm. I got there at 3:15pm and it wasn’t ready, there was only bread and just started decorating it. They told me to come back between 10-15 minutes. I came back and it’s still not ready. I waited for 15-20 minutes more inside the place, when I finally got it and got inside my car I noticed that it had the wrong name and said “Happy Birthday” in English instead of Spanish (I clearly told them the name and what I wanted it to say (Feliz Cumpleaños) they wrote it on a paper in front of me) I came back inside to tell them, I had to wait 5 more minutes inside while they change the name... the woman showed me the paper of what I wanted and I confirmed it (it had the correct spelling of the name and the Feliz Cumpleaños) I get the cake back, get inside the car and noticed that everything is still wrong... they spelled the whole name wrong while having the paper in front of them 🤦🏽♀️. At that point I wasn’t going to waste more of my time (I was already running late because of all of the waiting I had to do) so I just called them and told them that the name was still still wrong and it was supposed to be ready at 3pm not almost 4pm. I paid $45 for all of this and no compensations at all 🤷🏽♀️
