Le Bon Patissier Introduce
**Introduction / Overview: A Taste of European and Armenian Tradition in La Crescenta-Montrose**
Le Bon Patissier, nestled on Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta-Montrose, stands as a unique and essential stop for California residents seeking authentic, high-quality European and regional pastries. Far more than a typical local bake shop, Le Bon Patissier specializes in a delightful array of traditional Eastern European and Armenian specialties that are often difficult to find locally. This distinct focus has earned the bakery a loyal following, drawing customers in with the promise of flavors that transcend the everyday.
The bakery’s offerings cover both sweet and savory cravings, providing everything from a quick, delicious breakfast to intricate sheet cakes for grand celebrations. Among their most celebrated items are their legendary Walnut Rolls, which have garnered praise from customers who consider them superior to anything else available in the American Southwest. Items like Honey Cake, Nazook, Mikado, and the savory Armenian Lahmajun cement the bakery’s reputation as a purveyor of genuine, expertly crafted goods. While every business occasionally receives mixed feedback, with one review mentioning a dissatisfaction with cookies, the overwhelmingly positive sentiment for their specialties highlights the quality and authenticity of their core menu items, particularly their traditional pastries and desserts.
Le Bon Patissier successfully blends a specialty food market with a convenient local bakery. It operates with a focus on quick service, perfect for the fast-paced Southern California lifestyle, while ensuring every item—from a slice of Tres Leches to a full tray of Eclairs—carries the authentic taste and quality expected of traditional recipes. The ability to grab a fresh coffee alongside an Armenian Feta Borek or a sweet Ponchik makes it an ideal destination for an authentic breakfast or a mid-day treat.

April 17 · RAVEN OneFiveNineFourDear Le Bon Patissier owners and bakers! It’s hard to get a good tasting dessert or pastry in the US. Most of them are not worth the calories one consumes. We get these Walnut rolls in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the local specialty store and they are fantastic!!!I look forward to eating one of these every day in the afternoon and it makes my day !! THANK YOU VERY MUCH for making this world a better place and Happy Holiday season !!! ❤️❤️❤️
