★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is actually sooooo goood! Crispy exterior with thin buttery layers evenly distributed and a creamy dreamy custard perfectly melts in your mouth and NOT overbaked oe overmixed like many other places. Its almost as good as the one I've had from an LA Portugese Bakery but the custard is a little more milky and creamy which tbh I dont mind. The regular and chocolate were fire! The chocolate was high quality but not overpowering. Really Great 9.3/10!!!
June 24 · Malia ZorasterSuper cute place! I loved the flat white and the Belgian chocolate pastel de nata—so good. The pistachio, original w/ cinnamon, and salted caramel ones were great too. Same base, but the different toppings made each one feel totally different. The custard is on the runnier side, which might not be for everyone, but I liked the contrast with the crisp, flaky crust. I’ll definitely be back!
May 17 · JLVI’m in love! I tried the raspberry one — it was amazing, but my husband preferred the chocolate flavor. The packaging was great: we carried the pasteis by bike, they crumbled a little, but stayed mostly intact.Such a wonderful place!
June 29 · Kate VolkovaThese pastel de nata are superb! The puff pastry is just right, nice texture and flaky as it should be. But the real star is the custard, which is creamy, very creamy!I've tried the classic, pistachio, chocolate, and raspberry. If you need to pick one, it should be a plain classic. They offer coffee but don't have indoor seating, so plan accordingly.
May 17 · Alessandro FratiGlad to see Lisbonata has a storefront now, we were coming here since they were a stand at our local farmers market. I really enjoy the pastels here and happy to see they have multiple fillings now. There’s no inside seating but there’s a few spots outside - though hoping they open up an inside area soon. The coffee was okay but I’d definitely be back for the pastels. Hoping this place takes off a bit, they definitely deserve it.
