For those living and working in the **Miami Gardens** area of South Florida, **Mega Bakery** is a well-known local hub that offers much more than just baked goods. This establishment operates as a versatile bakery providing a wide array of classic Cuban and Latin-inspired cuisine, specializing in quick, affordable, and flavorful meals. Since opening in 2009, the owners, Rey and Jacquelin Fernandez, have maintained a clear vision: to provide the neighborhood with a variety of fresh, handmade products that satisfy both the appetite and the budget. They emphasize being highly selective with ingredients to create pastries, desserts, and sandwiches that will “fill your belly and warm your heart, without hurting your pocket.”
Mega Bakery is particularly popular for its extensive **breakfast** menu and diverse selection of savory items, including many traditional favorites. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Good variety of cakes for less than $3 per slice. Quick service too. Google maps instructions refer to a non-existent "57th Street". It's actually on 199 St in a strip mall behind a gas station.
July 08 · Tom LGreat taste. Muy rico. Wrong order, incorrecta orden. El cake tenía un hueco y lo rellenaron con crema. The cake had a hole so they filled it with icing. Not worth $30. The heart on the plate was all the extra icing. Way too much icing!
September 17 · RomyGreat experience. It definitely is busy but worth the wait. I personally had good customer service. Their guava pastelitos, bocaditos and croqueta de jamon were really good. It’s off the beaten path, unseen and hidden from the main red road. So the fact that they are always busy tells you a lot.
February 10 · Chantil SanchezI placed an order over the phone for a special cake and pastries for a next day birthday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating even though it was short notice. The cake was better than expected. Nicely decorated and so delicious.
April 17 · Leidi ChavezI used to come here all the time to get their pan con lechon, but I moved far. I now have a job close and went today to get it. Very disappointed, as it was very cold inside. It was like taking the meat out of the fridge and toast for a minute. It was also a bit on the dry side, they used to have a better mojito. It was still decent as they put a lot of pork and priced very reasonable.
