Miss Miller's Donuts Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For residents of Tennessee, especially those in the Crossville and Cumberland County area, Miss Miller's Donuts is not just a place to grab a sweet treat—it’s an institution and a true local gem. Operating as a mobile bakery, this business has built a dedicated following based on a commitment to quality, a truly impressive product, and a friendly, casual atmosphere. Miss Miller's Donuts stands out in the crowded culinary landscape by offering a product that customers describe as "seriously the best donuts" they’ve ever had.
What makes Miss Miller's so special is the dedication to an authentic, hands-on process. Every single one of their giant donuts is hand-formed and made fresh right in their mobile bakery. This ensures that customers receive a donut that is often warm, perfectly cooked, and notably larger than average—a factor that has become a defining characteristic and a major draw. The concept is simple: take classic donut flavors and execute them flawlessly, delivering an experience that feels both nostalgic and utterly delicious.
Unlike a fixed brick-and-mortar shop, Miss Miller's operates on a specific schedule, which adds a charming, community-driven element to the experience. For many locals, the effort to "track her down" on a specific morning is a part of the fun, making the reward of biting into one of their massive, fresh-baked creations all the more satisfying. The business also occasionally offers other homemade products like various canned goods, breads, and granola, expanding its appeal beyond just donuts. This dedication to homemade, quality products firmly roots Miss Miller's Donuts as a must-visit spot in the Tennessee dessert scene.
Location and Accessibility
One of the most defining aspects of Miss Miller's Donuts is its mobile nature, meaning the "location" is a schedule of consistent spots primarily within the Crossville, Tennessee area. This provides accessibility to different parts of the community on different days of the week, allowing more local users to enjoy their products.
While the provided permanent mailing address is a general one (A018087O B 00400 00001087, Nashville, TN 38555, USA), the operational locations for the mobile bakery are well-known to the local community. It’s essential for Tennessee patrons to consult their schedule, as one customer noted, the shop can be "a little hard to track down."
Based on the publicly available schedule, the primary operational locations during the open season (typically May through October) are:
- Wednesday Location: Peavine Rd, Crossville, TN. Specific addresses cited include 2810 Peavine Rd and 2842 Peavine Rd, Crossville, TN 38571-7928. This appears to be their regular midweek spot.
- Saturday Location: 127N, Crossville, TN. This is their consistent weekend stop, often described as being "near Walmart" by customers.
- Special Events: The business also participates in local Tennessee events, such as the Great Pumpkin Festival in Allardt, TN, allowing them to reach a broader regional audience.
Accessibility at their mobile locations is generally accommodating, featuring:
- Wheelchair accessible entrance
- Wheelchair accessible parking lot
The schedule may vary seasonally (with the main season often running from May to October), so Tennessee users are always advised to confirm the current weekly locations before making a special trip to ensure they don't miss out on these fantastic homemade treats.

What is worth choosing
Choosing Miss Miller's Donuts is a choice for authentic, local Tennessee goodness that transcends the standard chain donut experience. It is worth choosing for several compelling reasons that resonate deeply with the local community and anyone seeking a superior homemade treat.
Foremost, you are choosing quality over convenience. While you have to "track her down," the reward is a hand-formed donut, made fresh in a mobile bakery, often served warm straight from the fryer. This hands-on process results in a donut that is genuinely "perfectly cooked" and arguably the best you will find in the area. This commitment to traditional, small-batch baking is a rarity and a primary reason for their immense local popularity.
Secondly, the value proposition is unmatched due to the massive, "giant" size of the product. These are not small, uniform factory donuts; they are substantial, delicious creations that offer a true indulgence, ensuring that every dollar spent is "well worth it," as verified by customer feedback. Whether you opt for the simplicity of the Glazed donut or the flavor of the Chocolate Sprinkled, you are getting an oversized slice of homemade perfection.
Finally, you are supporting a cherished Crossville tradition. Miss Miller's is deeply integrated into the fabric of the local community, operating on a predictable, seasonal schedule that signals the return of warm-weather treats. For Tennessee locals, this is a beloved weekend stop (often Saturdays on 127N) and a crucial part of the region's culinary identity. Pair their renowned donuts with their "great coffee," and you have the perfect combination for a casual, quick visit that delivers an unforgettable homemade taste. If you're in the Tennessee area and looking for a truly unique, oversized, and fresh-baked donut experience, seeking out Miss Miller's Donuts is an absolute must.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1These are seriously the best donuts I've ever had. They were huge, warm, and perfectly cooked. We got a half dozen for $18 (4 glazed, 1 cinnamon, and 1 chocolate sprinkled) and it was well worth it!
July 06 · Jake HadleyWonderful!! No trip to Crossville is complete without a visit to Miss Miller's. A little hard to track her down. Usually on Peavine on Wednesday mornings and on Main St near Walmart on Saturday mornings.
June 10 · Jane TurnipseedSome of the best donuts I've had in a long time. Cooked on the spot, warm, and fresh dipped. They are only open on Saturdays get out there.Closing for the season on Oct 31 2020.
October 24 · Michelle YarbroughVisiting Fairfield Glade from Ohio. Stopped by on Wednesday,Oct 16, 2024. Donuts were great, but I also purchased a jar of pickles and a couple jars of jam. When I got home to Ohio, I looked at the expiration date of the pickles and they expired in Feb of 2024! Why were they selling 8 month expired product? No expiration on the jam jars, so basically feel like they are not safe to consume either. So 1 star on service for not checking product they are selling.
October 19 · James ClarkSome of the best donuts we’ve ever had and in Texas you can get them all over! We have missed her the first three times comin got visit and is ALWAYS recommended. If you are able to get some grab some. Fresh, hot and dipped right on the spot.
