Moya's Bakery Introduce
For those of us living in California, the true heart of our communities often beats loudest in the small, traditional businesses that have stood the test of time. In Huntington Park, one such irreplaceable treasure is Moya's Bakery. This establishment is not just another spot to grab a treat; it's a piece of local history, having served the community faithfully since the 1970s. This multi-decade tenure is a testament to the quality and consistency that Californians value in their neighborhood staples.
Moya's Bakery distinguishes itself in the rich, diverse culinary landscape of Southern California by offering a unique and beloved combination of traditions. While functioning as a classic, full-service bakery, its identity shines through its dual focus on authentic Mexican bread and pastries alongside cherished Cuban specialties. This combination offers a delicious journey for local patrons, allowing them to enjoy everything from traditional Pan Dulce to more unique, hard-to-find items like the delicious Cuban crackers and the wet, cone-shaped cake known as Capuchinos.
The bakery holds the comforting appeal of an “old-school traditional” shop, a quality that is increasingly rare and deeply appreciated by Californians who seek authenticity and time-tested recipes over modern commercialization. For customers seeking specialty items that other larger, more modern bakeries have discontinued—as highlighted by the customer who traveled from Glendale for the elusive Capuchinos—Moya’s Bakery is a reliable, dedicated source. The commitment to maintaining these traditional recipes and classic flavors is what makes Moya's a true destination bakery, well worth the drive from neighboring cities across the region.

May 25 · Jorge NIm from Glendale, and was looking for a Cuban Bakery that had “ Capuchinos” its a cone shaped wet cake. I went to Portos and they discontinued them , so I went To Gigis and they didn’t carry them anymore. So I googled a Cuban Bakery in Hungtington Park and Moyas Bakery had a picture of them so I called before going there to see if they had them, the gentleman on the phone said yes. So I went there. I didn’t see them on the display case so I asked him and he said let me get them for you. I was so excited to see them. They were delicious. I took a dozen of them plus other pastries. It’s an old school traditional Cuban Bakery. I love it. I will be back
March 12 · Ramon MolineCake at Moyas is not worth it.Got a 3 Leche with Guayaba. and every one at home was disappointedI want my $32.00 backits NOT worth it
September 28 · Bonita LauraThe only thing I buy here is the pastel de guayaba. Hands down the best. Better than porto's greedy filling. Can't speak for the other pastries here. I live in AZ now and this is definitely one of my first stops.
January 03 · LacynI bought bolillos and a few slices of cake. The bolillos were really good! The cake slices were stale, the 3 leches slice was rancid! I heard such great reviews, but this experience alone has kept me from going back. I was very disappointed!
