★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Came in on opening day.The restaurant was filled with clients, and family for their opening day.Because of the chaos missed seeing the hostess stand and sat down. A waiter greeted me almost immediately and explained that they would seat me, however since there were no other tables and the hostess stand was empty she let me sit in the booth I had selected. Staff was friendly, easy to approach and attentive to their customers.I was not expecting a wide menu options, came in knowing nothing about this food chain. I thought it would be coffees and breads, but was nicely surprised with their many options for breakfast and lunch with some traditional Latin foods. Menudo is on their list, I consider myself a menudo snob, grew up in a Mexican household and menudo (AKA beef tripe soup) is a traditional Mexican soup my mom makes so if made right, it's delicious, I'm looking forward to coming back to try it.Food service was on point, fresh, warm, and tasty. The waitress automatically brought a mini Conchita that was warm, and not too sweet which was the perfect size and taste. I don't like sweet things so ordered their regular iced coffee latte, so pretty simple and what I expected to get. I didn't know I was craving taquitos until I got here. So getting these satisfied a craving I didn't know I had lol. They were perfect, tasted clean, crispy, and not too greasy. The green salsa was not spicy at least for my taste buds and complimented these beef taquitos. They were sprinkled with cheese, lettuce, and chopped tomatoes. Soooo good. Will definitely come back.Parking was easy with plenty of spaces. My one down size was not the food or the staff, but the inside temperature environment. This is why I took off one star. The inside felt as hot as the outside, and it's summer, but sitting in a hot place was not comfortable. I came later in the day so probably would try to come in the morning since the heat builds up from the day and the use of the kitchen contributed to the heat inside.Otherwise awesome place to come and eat.
August 28 · Rebeca Villagomez CastanedaFamily is running the business, nd the care they put into it shows. Not only was I warmly greeted, they spoke to me about there setting up, the community and how much they appreciated that I was so interested in their goods. I was so involved in the conversation that as soon as it ended I walked out the store, and they ran out a few minutes later to give memy drinks I hd forgotten! So sweet and so dedicated to their A+service.Conchas were handed over warm and fluffy. Loved te Nutella and the biscoff one. I really liked the flavor of the mazapan one, was an interesting crumble
September 01 · Carlos MendezCame in with high hopes, variety of baked cakes and goods looked tasty. A little kid, 12 years at most, takes my order down. Doesn’t seem to know how to input my horchata latte but whatever, I tip $1 anyway. I get my scone in a plastic wrapper and proceed to wait for 15mins. I go up to the counter after a while and tell them to make sure the drink is hot. Not 2 mins later they come out with “my” drink but it’s iced. They even call my name out like I didn’t just got up to them and tell them to make sure it’s hot. They go to the back to remake my drink. I ask if I can keep that drink and both the little kid and the girl in front just stare at me like I’m not talking to them. I hate being ignored. After another while I get my drink in what seems like a small cup. I tell them I paid for the large and they say they only have one size so they will go and make me another. Wow. After waiting so freaking long, I just bite the bullet and sit for my 2nd drink. Once it comes out, the person apologizes for the wait and offers me a treat to apologize. I got some cookies and take off. I’d already started this review (since I spent so much time waiting) and was willing to discard it because of that last guy. The problem is that the 2nd drink I got was something completely different and most likely someone else’s drink they probably messed up. Horchata drink was good but tasted more like cookies & cream. I will not be coming back or going to another one of these spots.
