August 12 · C WHIGHLY RECOMMEND: It’s a small bakery with a few items. With that said, they invest in the quality of their selections. At a comparable price point to other “buffet style” (for lack of better terms) bakeries, they also give you larger sizes. It’s a satisfying experience with their bakes! A must-try!
August 14 · Justin BendoFor all you folks taking digs at the Asian lady, I agree but their pastries are the best and always fresh. They sell out daily. My wife and daughters love the breads. Take my advice...don't make small talk with the lady and you won't be disappointed. I drive from Manoa to this bakery; it's that good!!
March 07 · N LumI’ve been to this Bakery 3x to buy their delicious Anpan, Coconut , Raisin Bread, Cornbread & Ensaymada and my Experience have been very disappointing. I must admit that I love their bake goods and breads, however, they lack good socialskills and the woman needs to learn the Aloha Spirit. The first time I went, she told me not to touch the loaf breads. She said; No Touch! I should tell her or point to what I want. I felt embarrassed like a little kid getting scolding from my Gramma. I bought 4 loavesAnyway 2 Coconut and 2 Azuki @ $5.99 per loaf. I also bought 5 individually wrapped items at $2.99 eaAnd totaled $43.79So I shrugged it off and went back 2 weeks later. My 2nd visit was another disappointment. I asked the woman if I could buy the warm breads just out of theOven coz I love warm bread. She answered inThe most rude and irritating voice; All same! Not Ready! So again I felt uneasy but I spent $25 worth anyway.Today, was the my third and last visit.Same rude Asian woman behind the Counter. No welcome, never said a word but watched me intently. I grabbed 2 loaves& paid for it. As I Turned towards the door ITold her, ‘You need to smile and say Thank You!’She never said a Word. I don’t know if she doesn’t understand my English or just down right rude.My 2 cents: It doesn’t matter how good or deliciousYour Creations are, but you lack the Aloha SpiritYou will not survive or succeed.I will never go back. Instead, I’ll drive to Elvins Bakery on Dillingham or JJ Patisserie at Ala Moana Center.
May 14 · Emmie OrtegaFound at Waimalu Shopping center serving pastries. My visit was short not because of the pastries but the server at that time seemed to be not interested in seeing guests (in short, unfriendly). She was more interested in taking the payments right away than to ever carry a short conversation. I asked her, "What's the most popular here?" And she was unsure of her answer. But anyway, I was there just because I love pastries. Thank you.
