★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We went here on Xmas day as all restaurants were closed. Great food and nice owner. We tried few Cuban authentic dishes and it was awesome.
January 09 · Harish PillaiI just left the bakery and as soon as I walked in there was no greeting or anything, but I wasn’t really making a big deal about that. The problem is, I was standing there waiting for I don’t know how long and the lady saw me standing there waiting. She didn’t say anything didn’t acknowledge me or anything. Someone else walked in behind me and they weren’t there long, but they were just waiting as well and she didn’t acknowledge them or say “I’ll be with you in a second” , nothing, I figured they were too busy for business so I just left honestly and I won’t be back. Businesses stay open with customers, and I don’t know how you expect to stay open when you don’t even have customer service skills.
August 16 · Precious MccraeI visited the store today and had a rather unpleasant experience. Before walking in, I noticed a man sitting at a table with his feet up, picking his nose, and playing with his hair. It was a pretty off-putting sight. When I entered the store, he got up and asked what I needed. I told him I had seen what he was doing outside and chose to ignore me. I then asked if he had heard me, to which he simply replied, "Yes." What really bothered me was that he didn’t wash his hands afterward. Despite all this, he still handed me a closed drink that didn’t even require any preparation. Overall, it was an unprofessional and uncomfortable experience, and I hope they address their hygiene and customer service standards moving forward.
April 06 · Kayla gWhat happened to bakeries... I went to their new location. 1 cuban bread, colada and a paparellena. Almost $10 a bit ridiculous if you ask me . Tell you one thing , that will probably be the last time I go there. If they keep going they'll probably close soon.
July 13 · Lazaro Martinezridiculous, ordered a Breakfast Combination (Desayuno Combinación) and a Steak Eggs Palomilla Breakfast (Bistec a Caballo) for delivery on doordash. I placed my order at 12:30 and around 12:55 realized the order hadnt been confirmed yet (its normally confirmed/denied withing minutes of placing order). I called the restaurant to ask if they were accepting doordash orders currently and the employee said she went ahead and accepted mine while we were on the phone. Waited another 30ish minutes and received nothing but a small tray of croquetas. Didnt accept the order since that was not what i paid for and called the store. The store told me to bring the croquetas back and they will give me what i originally ordered. I ordered this for delivery since i live quite a ways away, the store refused to deliver it saying there was only 1 employee. Eventually they told me if i can come by the store, they will give me the food i ordered at no extra cost. Once i got to the store they tried giving me a different order again !!!!! My meal was supposed to have a cafe con leche y una tostada. They gave me a nica breakfast which has gallo pinto and no tostada or cafe con leche. The employee argued with my boyfriend and i saying they wouldnt give me my cafe con leche since it wasnt apart of my order. The employee said that whoever accepted my order actually put in a nica breakfast instead of my Breakfast Combination (Desayuno Combinación) and because of that i cannot receive my coffee and bread (even though my doordash receipt shows my correct order). She then offered to place me a new order for my Breakfast Combination (Desayuno Combinación) for me to pay and get what i was supposed to have received. They kept going back and forth with us and eventually agreed to just make my coffee and tostada. They argued about the order they had on their end vs what my doordash reciept shows for sooo long that a new customer walked in, waited for 5 minutes, not a single employee acknowledged her so she walked out and left! Another employee eventually walks out from the back and discovered that their system had my order with my Breakfast Combination (Desayuno Combinación)correct the whole time and never said nica breakfast. Couldve been eating my food like 2 hours ago when it was actually breakfast time but no. Instead i had to spend my morning arguing with a restaurant who was in the wrong the whole time. They also lied saying there was only 1 employee so noone could redeliver my order (when i got there , there was at least 4 women in the restaurant). Very unprofessional. This used to be my go to spot for cafe con leche and a quick breakfast when i was in the area but not any longer.Update: Just got home to actually eat, Food was very supbar compared to previous times ive eaten there. Gallo pinto did not taste right and the palomilla steak was insanely dry and tasted like it was only seasoned with lime juice. My order was supposed to have french fries and they gave me a side of orange looking potatoes?
