★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Reason I am giving this only 1 stars is because.....well...you don't know how much any one item costs. There are literally no prices to be found anywhere!!! Take a look at the pictures, in my opinion this is not acceptable. Prices should be posted on all items being sold so you can make informed decisions.
May 13 · HomelandWhat a beautiful bakery. The staff was very friendly the atmosphere was lovely. The ham and cheese toast was delicious. The Bola was the best I've had!!
January 14 · Tinamarie LopesThe worst coffee experience I’ve ever had. This was, without question, the worst cappuccino I’ve ever had. I understand it’s a Portuguese café, but a cappuccino is an internationally recognized beverage. It’s not about cultural differences—it’s about knowing how to make a basic coffee drink.A traditional cappuccino is made with 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, and 1/3 milk foam. It should never resemble a watery café au lait, and it definitely needs foam. What I was served lacked all the key elements of a proper cappuccino. When I politely explained to the staff that what I received was not a cappuccino, the employee responded with a poor attitude and no willingness to fix it. She insisted it was a cappuccino, and when I said I didn’t want it, she brought me the exact same thing again. Not only was the drink bad, but the customer service was worse. I won’t be returning. For reference, a proper cappuccino starts with a shot of espresso, followed by a small amount of steamed milk, and topped with a thick layer of foam. Simple as that.
April 06 · L AThis place is unique in quality !!! Different from the majority because it’s fresh handmade products! They make everything there what makes all the difference !!! It’s a typical delicious local Portuguese cafeteria that I recommend to all my clients and people that want to taste the best of the local in the Ironbound section !!!!
May 29 · Carla FerreiraWhat you’re serving isn’t a cappuccino, and I think you should explain that to your customers. After trying to get a cappuccino at your café, I realized that what you serve has nothing to do with a real cappuccino. A traditional cappuccino, as we all know, consists of espresso, steamed milk, and a creamy foam layer on top. What I was given lacked that characteristic foam and had a flavor and consistency that didn’t resemble a true cappuccino at all.I think it would be helpful if you clarified in your menu that what you’re offering is a “Portuguese cappuccino,” so customers know what to expect. This way, you’d avoid confusion, especially early in the morning when all people want is to enjoy a delicious coffee to start their day right. Not only should you improve the quality of your cappuccinos, but also the customer service, which in my case was quite poor. The staff’s attitude was neither friendly nor professional, making the experience even worse.I hope you take these suggestions into account for improvement, as great coffee and service are essential to getting customers to return.
