Poppy's Bagels Introduce
For Minnesotans catching an early flight or dealing with a layover at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), finding a high-quality, substantial breakfast is key. Poppy's Bagels, located right in Terminal 1, is the dedicated morning concept aiming to fill that need with authentic, freshly baked bagels. Known for offering a welcome step up from typical airport fast food, Poppy's Bagels provides a variety of bagel sandwiches, classic bagels with schmear, and essential coffee options to fuel your travel day.
Operating as a specialized breakfast spot, Poppy's Bagels is part of a unique "transforming" concept that transitions into Custom Burgers later in the day (typically after 10:30 a.m.). This focus ensures that during the critical morning rush, all attention is on delivering those satisfying, chewy bagel-based meals. While some customer experiences reflect the challenges of a high-volume airport environment—such as occasional service delays or system quirks with self-ordering—the core product, the bagel itself, has been praised as "so delicious" that it is unforgettable, making it a standout choice for a travel-day meal, even if it is acknowledged to be on the "pricer side" of local options.
Poppy's Bagels is strategically placed in one of the airport’s busiest thoroughfares, ensuring maximum convenience for travelers.
The specific location details are:

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Was traveling and as we were waiting for our plane, we got some breakfast. It was def on the pricer side, but I will say that we got 2 good bagels. It was so delicious that I still think about it to this day! When we were there, they seemed to have still been prepping and just opening up. They had tablets to order it yourself, but there were some issues with it so we were waiting by the register, which there was a worker there, and he did not help us out, although he noticed us. After a couple mins, they helped us out and too our order.
January 19 · Maihlee Y.My wife had Sesame Seed bagel with Avocado spread. I was struggling with kiosk so the the manager, Sierra, walked me through it. She was very friendly and helpful. Her pleasant demeanor was absolutely appreciated.
September 25 · Rob ScottIt looked nice/clean and I appreciated the self-ordering on touch screen. The bagels were decent but the ‘schmear’ was majorly lacking. Partway through our flight I was excited to have a late breakfast and it was super disappointing.
February 09 · Kara EThis is a pretty decent quick breakfast. I went with a turkey, egg, and avocado sandwich (on everything bagel), and by airport standards, it was a good sandwich. I'd probably choose this place again next time I'm in this terminal, compared to the other options nearby. There's kiosk ordering, which was pretty quick and efficient, and you could make modifications to the menu items (which you don't always get the luxury of doing at airport places). I was happy.
July 16 · Kessashun ArthurThe WORST bagels in my life. Such a rip off for such horrible bagels. The smallest bagels ever, VERY little salmon, just traces of cream cheese and all that after huge wait. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. $1 for extra cucumber? They give you 2 super thin slices…etc etc They said the bagels would toasted, but they were not.
