July 05 · Misty CoombsWe happened to see the sign which said" Pies Pies Pies" and good we stopped to see what the place offered. We saw a couple of pues in the stand but we decided to walk to the building to see what more to find. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and told us these were his mom's recipes and her business he is trying to keep running. They were making pies and I could see them loading the frozen wild blueberries into a pie. He also said he has a warm one ready to go so we got the wild blueberry pie.At first we thought we will go back to our room and then eat it but it looked so appetizing so we made the mistake of cutting it. The juice of the blueberry started oozing out in the box so we had to stop in a parking lot had to eat some, transfer the rest into a container ( thank God we had one). In short it was a mess. But it was the best blue berry pie we have ever had. We thought it was a bit pricey but totally worth it. Just make sure you cut it after you reach home. The Maple cream cookies were so good as well. We wish we got more of the cookies but unfortunately we got only one.
July 14 · V RI do believe that the Maple Cream cookies were the best cookies that I’ve ever eaten! The apple pie was very good.
June 14 · Lori GregoryI appreciate the ingredient label for those who have a food allergy . Maple cream cookies (3) and 1 whoopie pie were hard unfortunately . Must have been out there a while
June 08 · LindsayWe stopped at this roadside bakery in Newry. We bought 'several' of the Maple Creme cookies [we drove 1 1/2 hours] just to satisfy our craving of these cookies and they were fresh & delicious! We also bought a raspberry/peach pie. Can't wait to dig into that, also. Definitely worth the trip. We will be back!!!
