From the moment my husband and I walked into the bakery I was in heaven. The smell of the freshly baked goods was amazing- I wish I could keep it in a bottle!! Ian was there to greet us and we found out he is the owners son. He was helpful, appreciate and extremely patient as I didn’t know what to choose!! He recommended the fresh pizza that had just come out of the oven. I was thinking cinnamon roll at the time…soo.. I got the pizza and we took a dozen cookies, some fritters and my cinnamon roll home to eat later. The pizza was the bomb! So crispy and the fresh bread it was on was amazing. Sauce too! The decorated sugar cookies are amazing too! Tasty and acutely decorated! Also couldn’t leave without a half moon cookie. I’d be 300 pounds if I lived in town. We were just passing though and I’m so glad we went in. My lumberjack latte was amazing too. Ian took the time to explain the family history of the store as well three generations of his family running it since 1887!! His step dad really comes in at 2 am to make everything fresh too! I would most definitely stop in if you’re in town! If you’re a local I’m pretty sure you already know this! - Wendy Marshall
