Seoul Bakery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Nestled in the bustling heart of Federal Way, Washington, Seoul Bakery offers local residents a delightful and authentic slice of Korean culinary tradition. More than just a simple bakery, this cherished local business has created a unique space where traditional Korean Pastries meet a select menu of classic comfort foods, making it a truly dual-purpose destination. For Washingtonians seeking fresh, distinctively soft, and not-too-sweet baked goods, Seoul Bakery is a highly-recommended stop.
What immediately sets Seoul Bakery apart is its commitment to authentic Korean-style baking. Customer reviews frequently highlight the incredible lightness and subtle sweetness of their offerings. The star of the show for many patrons is their specialty Mango Cake, often described as "SO GOOD" with "fluffy whipped mango cream" and "lots of mangoes." Unlike many heavier Western-style desserts, the fresh cakes here are celebrated for their delicate balance of sweetness and their "literally melt in your mouth" sponges. This dedication to quality has made their cakes a favorite for Washington families celebrating special occasions.
Beyond the celebrated cakes, the bakery serves a wide array of soft, fresh, and often nostalgic Korean breads and pastries. Classic treats like the Red Bean Paste Pastry and Cream Bread bring customers back to their "childhood’s favorite breads and pastries." Visitors are invited to enjoy a fresh coffee alongside a selection of unique pastries, providing a quick, delicious treat perfect for a Quick visit.
Adding to its unique charm, Seoul Bakery expands its offerings beyond baked goods to include a savory menu that draws on the rich flavors of Korean cuisine. This combination means you can satisfy both your craving for a soft, authentic pastry and a hearty, traditional Korean meal, such as their popular Bul Go Gi or a comforting bowl of Kal Guk Soo (thick noodles in broth). This versatility makes the small, welcoming bakery a valuable gem within the Federal Way community. The friendly, generous service provided by the staff, often described as a "sweet mom and daughter" working together, only enhances the warm, community-focused experience.

June 12 · Amy McreynoldsMy husband and I want to shopping in H Mart. And we saw this bakery. We bought 2 Korean pastries and coffees. Very small bakery but they have everything, pastries are soft, fresh, delicious and yummy. They bring me back to childhood’s favorite breads and pastries. I like a red bean paste pastry and cream bread. Sweet mom and daughter work together and they are a great service for us. Very kind and generous people.
December 07 · Morai BallBest bakery ever. My family always grabs one of their cakes for every special occasion. American style cake just doesn’t do it for us anymore. The sponges are light and literally melt in your mouth. The whipped cream is not too sweet and perfect with the cakes and the fresh fruits on top is chefs kiss.
April 24 · Nadiya KCustom ordered a cake for my friend's engagement party and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the cake - it was perfectly light, fluffy, and fruity! Will order from here again in the future (note: the topper was not included)
