Shipley Do-Nuts Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is ridiculous. Why yall selling dough fossils in this store? These donuts are rock hard, cold and bare (no glaze). It’s sad to see such a poor product coming from a company with such a high reputation. I don’t know if it’s the ingredients, recipe, or bakers that are the issue. Whatever it is, gone and shut down shop if you don’t plan on improving for paying customers.
April 20 · Dee WinnfieldUpon walking in, there was no greeting or anything. The shelf was bare and all of the variety of donuts were piled on one tray instead of being displayed properly according to the labels. I ordered 2 kolaches with cheese and a dozen glazed donuts. I have had great experience with other Shipley Do-Nuts but this was definitely not the same. The donuts were cold and crusty. They were out of kolaches with cheese and I was fine with the plain but the woman that assisted the cashier with the refund of the difference was rude and I feel like the refund incorrect. I am so disappointed because I have loved this company’s donuts and this place is truly a let down.
April 27 · LaurieI thought my experience would be different than the reviews but unfortunately it was not. I called an hour in advance for 5 dozen glazed donuts for teachers, under the impression they would be freshly made (she had to verify they had enough to make). When I arrived I realized this location most certainly does not make donuts the same as any other shipleys I have ever been to. They were small, cold, seem to be unglazed or severely under glazed, and expensive at $12.99 per dozen. I deeply regret giving this shop a chance despite the reviews, and after spending $70 I really want to call and get a refund or at least a do over. Embarrassing to serve people (them to me, then me to other people) with such poor quality products. This GM needs to do something!
May 09 · Taylor WalkerWOW, I can’t believe Shipleys Corporate would allow a franchisee to serve donuts that were undoubtedly “days old”. Not a good look for Shipleys. There’s got to be a corporate policy in place that prohibits the serving of donuts that are more that 24 to 36 hours old. I ordered 3 donuts, 2 cake, 1 glaze, it was very apparent that the first two were at least a day or more old. The 3rd one was so completely dried out that it was uneditable. I should have known something up when there were no cars in the parking lot. I drove by a privately owned donut shop on the way. I won’t make that mistake again.
August 24 · Daniel KennemurIt's not the company it's the people they had working there. The donuts tasted like they were made yesterday and put out to be sold the next day. I love Shipley's but not a fan of this location.
