I haven't had donuts in a few years as I've been on a fitness journey. I've been craving donut holes for about 4 months now. My most awesome hubby stopped and got me some this morning. I was so excited to sink my teeth into them....Ahhh honey did you eat half of each one??? He laughed and asked why.... I showed him why...What on earth happened to them??? I know the economy didn't affect donut holes, lol. The same hole that's been cut out of donuts for hundreds of years is now a quarter of the size as it was. I was so disappointed as I was expecting two bite donut holes.My hubby said QT had the best donut holes and I insisted on Shipleys cause they were the best. I was wrong and not afraid to admit it. At least QTs are round and 2 bites big. I know because I've craved them and just never purchased.Now my craving is gone, and I'm so glad. I will never purchase them or anything else at Shipleys again. Way to skimp on a simple donut hole..... unbelievable!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised that this donut shop closed later because I stopped by at about 1245pm. The employee who helped me was very nice, prompt, and honest. I asked for Kolaches, and she said there were fresher ones coming out in about 10mins. I opted NOT to wait. I didn't feel rushed, although she seemed to be the only one there that afternoon. Despite this, the area inside looked clean, and the donuts were labeled nicely. I just don't like how much donuts cost nowadays.
