★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I would never eat here solely based on how recklessly they drive their van. I was driving 50 in a 45 in the pouring rain. This was not fast enough for them apparently. Passed me on a main road (they did wait for a passing section I will add) and proceeded to go 60+ mph in a 45 in horrible weather. Clearly have no care in the world about others safety on the road. I would never support this business
July 06 · hannah ellisI witnessed a driver for this company purposefully swerve into the opposing lane to hit and kill two baby raccoons.. I can’t imagine what company could employ someone with such psychopathic tendencies.
October 01 · Gabriella CataniaThis place is great! The owner is very friendly & the coffees & baked goods are extraordinary. I was on a 1st date so the laid back casual atmosphere was perfect. We sat on the couch with our cappuccinos listening to soft music...we'll be back for our 1 yr anniversary in 2 weeks!
October 16 · Sandra DownieThe STALE cookies are bought from a NY store that ships. Selection is limited and of very poor quality (eg real chocolate is not used in brown lace cookies..has NO chocolate taste). The manager has a not so friendly attitude. While the cookies are labeled at 2 different prices, the manager wanted to put them all in 1 box and charge for the higher price. When I said I wanted them separated, he insinuated I was being cheap and he would have to spend $.40 on the extra box. I went there for the $5 salami/pepper/provalone sandwich and spent $25+ on cookies in addition to $10 for sandwiches. While a farther distance, I will go back to Hartford's Franklin Ave bakeries or to Giusippina's Italian bakery on 946 Sullivan Ave in S Windsor. They are real Italian bakeries and have superb quality and FRIENDLY service.
July 23 · bobbie macioneIn the early 1990's I used to set up at a Flea Market in the Manchester Parkade. It was held in the Old Channel Lumber building. Anyone remember? Well Strano's bakery was there, and the woman there used to scream in her best Italian accent all the time Bread, Pastry Strano's. It was SO annoying and horrific, Saturday in and Saturday out.I NEVER purchased anything from them. It was day old baked goods and bread,(or even older they were four for a dollar), and she was Oblivious to any of us selling also, that wedidn't need her screaming it all day and I mean ALL DAY! Just thought I would give my opinion. I still see her in my mind. It was an unpleasant experience.
