For Colorado Springs residents seeking a bakery experience that is genuinely unique, incredibly delicious, and rooted in authentic Asian baking traditions, Surely Bakery is a must-visit local treasure. This is not your typical American bakery; it's a specialty establishment that has quickly gained a devoted following for its signature offerings, particularly the astonishingly soft and subtly sweet milk buns and the light, airy cakes. This business proudly identifies as both Asian-owned and woman-owned, adding a wonderful layer of cultural richness and community support to its professional and friendly operations.
In a town known for its diverse culinary scene, Surely Bakery stands out for its commitment to quality ingredients and a traditional baking style that results in products that are "not too sweet," a characteristic highly praised by customers. The authenticity of the flavors—from the fragrant Ube to the classic Red Bean—offers a delightful taste of home for many and an exciting new discovery for those exploring the depth of Asian pastries. Local patrons rave about the kindness of the owner and the exceptional quality of every baked good, often advising newcomers to "be sure to arrive early because everything gets sold fast!"
Surely Bakery has carved out a niche in the Colorado Springs market by perfecting the art of the Asian milk bun and various specialty cakes and desserts. The bakery operates primarily through advance online orders, which customers then pick up, ensuring every product is as fresh as possible. This model, combined with a regular presence at local farmers' markets, allows them to serve the community efficiently and maintain the high quality of their handcrafted treats.
The menu is centered around items that showcase a balance of flavor and texture, steering away from the overly sugary profile common in many Western baked goods. The foundation of their fame lies in their Milk Buns—a super soft, light, and chewy dough that serves as the perfect canvas for a variety of traditional and unique fillings. Beyond the buns, they offer an exquisite selection of cakes, cookies, and desserts, all prepared with an evident passion for baking. Supporting Surely Bakery means supporting a local, Asian, and woman-owned business that brings authentic international flavors to the Pikes Peak region.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I met Sherley and her wonderful daughter Michelle at the farmer's market in Black Forest. All of her baked goods are homemade with quality ingredients that's not too sweet. This town is lucky to have authentic Asian bakery. Be sure to arrive early because everything gets sold fast!
August 23 · EricSince it was Chinese New Year I was craving some pineapple tarts (a common snack back in Malaysia during this time). I heard about this bakery and ordered some. I tried some coconut buns as well. Pick up was easy and the owner is very communicative and friendly. The cookies are amazing and remind me of the ones back home. As for the buns, they are light, not too sweet and perfectly soft and chewy! I am excited to try more from this bakery and highly recommend it!!
February 19 · Serene ChuaMy family loves the butter buns! They are soft, sweet perfection! We first found Surely Bakery at the Backyard Market in Black Forest during the fall. Since then, we've placed a couple orders of butter buns through their website. Can't get enough of these delectable treats! Sherley and her daughter are lovely people! You can tell their baked goods are made with love and care!
March 28 · Nicole MitchellAmazing Asian bakery goods in Colorado Springs. Love the soft, light and not too sweet coconut and apple buns. The nori spring rolls snack was a crowd favorite as well. Was better than some of the baked buns I had at an Asian bakery (Tokyo premium bakery) in Denver. Impressive.
