Sweet Memory Bakery By Trisha

Bakery ★4.0

2121 New Hope Church Rd, Between, GA 30655, USA

4.0
I paid $36.08 for a carrot cake from Sweet Memories Bakery at David's Produce Market. I picked it up on the way for 1 of my employees birthday. It looked beautiful (Hence the 3 stars) but it is dry as a Styrofoam brick and the icing is grainy and gritty. I'm hoping that this one was just old or a bad batch. At the end of the get together, no one's cake is near half way gone. I can tell you that it was no where near what I expected for $36, next time I'll swing by Publixs. - Danny Lovell

Introduction / Overview

**Sweet Memory Bakery By Trisha** is a dedicated production **Bakery** rooted in the community of Between, GA, serving a widespread clientele across the Metro Atlanta area and surrounding counties. This is a unique local Georgia business, specializing not in a traditional storefront model, but as a wholesale supplier that delivers its products to numerous local grocery stores, produce markets, and meat markets.

The bakery’s foundation lies in the concept of nostalgia and family heritage. The owner, Trisha, named the business "Sweet Memories Recreated by Trisha" to honor her mother, who was the source of many of the cherished, classic recipes used today. The mission is to recreate "sweet memories" from childhood for customers, often evoking the taste of a grandmother's or mother's homemade cake. This focus on traditional, old-fashioned flavors—such as Caramel, Old Fashion Chocolate, and Lemon Cheese—is the hallmark of the business.

The bakery is a true family operation, with Trisha’s son handling deliveries and her daughter assisting during college breaks, demonstrating a commitment to their growing local business despite economic challenges. The primary focus is on wholesale distribution of a full range of cakes, cookies, and dessert bars, alongside managing custom special orders for local pickup or delivery through one of their retail partners.

Services Offered

Sweet Memory Bakery By Trisha operates on a two-pronged service model: wholesale distribution and personalized special orders, catering to the needs of both local businesses and individual Georgia consumers.

The primary services and product categories include:

  • **Wholesale Dessert Distribution:** The core business model involves delivering a variety of cakes, dessert bars, and cookies to approximately 14 partner stores across the Metro Atlanta area, including locations like David's Produce, Patton's Meat Market, John's Supermarket in Monroe, and Between Grocery.
  • **Classic Cake Range:** Offering a range of delicious cakes, with classic flavors frequently available at partner locations, such as Caramel, Old Fashion Chocolate, and Lemon Cheese cakes.
  • **Brownies, Bars, and Cookies:** Providing a delectable selection of smaller baked goods in various flavors, perfect for grab-and-go treats or stocking up the pantry.
  • **Custom Special Orders:** Customers can place a **Special order** for a desired cake flavor or type not regularly available at the partner locations. This must be done by calling the bakery directly.
  • **Partner Pickup Coordination:** The ordering process for special orders is unique; customers call the bakery, specify their cake choice, and designate which partner store (e.g., David's Produce, John's Supermarket) they wish to pick up the cake from. This allows for convenient collection across a wide geographical area.
  • **Time-Sensitive Delivery Service:** Orders typically require at least a two-day notice for delivery to a partner store. The bakery aims to have special orders delivered to most retail locations by 4:00 p.m. on the day of delivery.
  • **Holiday Pre-Ordering:** Specific deadlines, such as the Wednesday one week before Thanksgiving, are instituted for major holiday orders to manage demand effectively.

This system provides Georgia consumers with broad access to the bakery’s products, even without a central storefront.

What is Worth Choosing

Choosing Sweet Memory Bakery By Trisha means selecting a local Georgia institution that bakes with a genuine, heartfelt purpose: recreating the classic, comforting tastes of home. What is most worth choosing about this operation is its **unique distribution model and commitment to family heritage**.

The wholesale delivery system is incredibly valuable for local Georgia markets. By partnering with small, local produce and meat markets, Sweet Memory Bakery makes high-quality, freshly baked goods available in locations that might otherwise only offer commercial, mass-produced desserts. This strategy supports multiple local Georgia businesses and provides convenience to customers in diverse geographic areas, from Monroe to Cumming. This is especially advantageous for residents who value convenience and support for independent businesses.

Furthermore, the core philosophy of "recreating sweet memories" through recipes passed down from Trisha's mother appeals deeply to Georgia's appreciation for tradition and Southern comfort food. The specialization in old-fashioned flavors like Caramel and Lemon Cheese cakes serves a niche often overlooked by large commercial bakeries. While some customer feedback suggests that quality control should be monitored closely regarding freshness and texture—with one review describing a cake as 'dry as a Styrofoam brick' and another as 'Red Bread Cake'—the fundamental success and growth to 14 store partnerships indicate a large consumer base consistently values the bakery's signature classic flavors and the convenience of the pickup network.

For a consumer who prioritizes accessibility, convenience through a wide pickup network, and the nostalgic flavor profile of Southern home baking, Sweet Memory Bakery By Trisha offers a valuable, locally-rooted option right here in the Metro Atlanta area.
