★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The thick yet fluffy empanadas are so good! I’ve had the beef and spinach, and I recommend the beef. They taste fresh and as if your grandma made them. One is a fulfilling serving size, the price is a little steep but you’re getting your moneys worth with the yummy dish. Plus it feels good to support local cafes.
August 30 · Sara PriftiTango Bakery is a welcome addition to H Street NE. Open Wednesday-Friday from 7am to 5pm and 8am-5pm on weekends, it's a space that serves Latin American pastries to empanadas and coffee. Popping in on a Wednesday morning, here's my experience.1) Food: The beef empanada and the ham and cheese one were good. My favorite is the beef with the green chimichurri sauce along the condiment bar. (There are three kinds of sauce. Be careful as the bottles are oily.)2) Drinks: My dulce de leche latte was great! It comes with a large swirl of the leche to mix into the drink making it the right sweetness.3) Service: The man behind the corner was friendly and attentive. Despite other customers, the wait wasn't long for my latte and empanadas warmed up.4) Space: It's one room with different places to sit. It's a cozy spot to sit for awhile.
April 23 · Austin GraffDefinitely authentic empanadas and pastries !I love getting all versions of their Dulce de leche… coffee , croissant & alfajores 🤩🤩🤩 their tea sandwiches are simple and feel like your tia made it for you.I’m a fan of just coming here after work days and decompressing; feels like the cozy third place. Katriel, chef/owner, has been inviting and great energy to the community.

July 27 · Pablo Bravo OlleGreat relaxing cafe with delicious Argentinian bakery. But you must come early to get the freshest ‘facturas’. Katriel has made a great choice in the facturas made and option. Taste coffee and more available.
