June 07 · Anna TuroWe had the best experience with Catherine and The Bakers' Lounge! We went to Catherine to design our wedding cake during COVID and she was so accommodating. We had a great tasting and then leading up to the wedding, she was incredibly communicative and helpful. She designed a beautiful two layered cake that was vanilla bean on one layer and chocolate salted caramel. Amazing!! Her cake design was a perfect match to our citrus themed wedding. Would highly recommend Catherine and the Bakers' Lounge to anyone who needs a wedding cake.
September 14 · Scott GoldfarbI needed scones for my book club. Tasted quite a few. Finally ordered from the Bakers' Lounge. They were superb. Ready on time. Excellent service. Complimentary lemon curd and clotted cream. A real treat. I heartily recommend this bakery!
September 26 · Louise JenningsThe Baker's Lounge stands out as a British bakery in DC. I arranged for her to provide my milestone birthday cake and an assortment of individual-sized British cakes. Having seen the beautiful cakes she has made for others in the past, I gave her full creative license to create my centerpiece cake. The cake was absolutely stunning and she displayed all the cakes beautifully. I was advised by Catherine when I ordered the cakes that guests may choose not eat dessert. This was not the case at my party as I only got to scrape the crumbs and frosting from the bottom of the birthday cake platter. I was so thrilled that my guests enjoyed the cakes. I am fortunate that I can get British cakes whenever I want by visiting her shop.
November 30 · Grace NavasI love The Bakers' Lounge! Catherine is so awesome. We were instant friends. I love talking about how we see our businesses growing and developing. She always has ideas and is very supportive. She has a true passion for baking and interacting with her customers. Her high teas are so sweet, so schedule one if you can. And I love her pineapple upside down cake and blueberry frangipani!
