This bakery is all style, no substance. The pastries look decent, but everything I tried was bland and clearly made with cheap ingredients. Dry cake, fake-tasting frosting, and zero flavor. Disappointing all around. Won’t be back. I suggest the Placid Baker if you desire quality.

I bought a box of “Fudge Fantasies” cookies from The Cookie Factory in Troy, and honestly, it felt like flushing money down the drain. You’d be far better off making the short trip to Bella‑Napoli Italian Bakery also in Troy. Bella‑Napoli cookies are consistently fresh, with the right hint of sweetness and delicious chocolate! While The Cookie Factory’s version is dry and generic, Bella‑Napoli uses high‑quality butter and real vanilla, giving each bite a rich, homemade taste. Do yourself a favor and skip The Cookie Factory your taste buds will thank you.

Second time after a few years away. Clean place. Large and filled with more treats than you can imagine. I tried the fudge brownie, fudged chocolate chip cookie and the peanut butter cookie. Many other things looked great, especially the cinnamon bread. This is a solid three and a half star place. The brownie was good but should have been much more dense and flavorful. The fudged chocolate chip cookie was lacking taste/freshness but was still good. The peanut butter cookie was also just good and the best out of the my three selections. Two other co-worker's bought treats and they said they loved them so perhaps I'm just here on the wrong day. Worth a try if you are in Troy.

The details on the cake were amazing, the cake tasted amazing and my guests were amazed by not only how amazing the cake tasted but the PRICE which is affordable! Recommend all my guests!
