Look no further than The Dinersaur, an independent bakery that has quickly become a beloved fixture in the Central Phoenix community. Known for its meticulously crafted pastries, welcoming atmosphere, and playful charm, this women-owned business is a fantastic example of Arizona’s vibrant local food scene. Far from a chain experience, The Dinersaur offers unique and delicious baked goods that reflect the genuine passion and skill of its creator, Pastry Chef Olivia Girard.
The bakery's name itself—a fun play on 'diner' and the owner's love for dinosaurs—hints at the warm, slightly whimsical experience you can expect. While it may have started as an online and wholesale venture, its brick-and-mortar location now provides a dedicated home for its growing fan base. Whether you're craving a sweet start to your day, a midday treat, or a specialty cake for a celebration, this bakery is a must-visit for local Arizona residents seeking high-quality, hand-crafted baked goods.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very fun little pocket bakery. Friendly staff that was patient with my kids as they had a hard time making choices.Tried the ceasar sandwich, was very good but my kids couldn’t bite through the PERFECT crust on the baguette bread.I wish there was seating inside but it’s perfect for what it is!
July 16 · Kylie GI’ve been a diehard le dinersaur supporter since the sandwich days and oh man I FINALLY got an opportunity to visit the shop after moving out of state RIGHT when the spot opened, and stalking them online for years, i’ve had friends ship me treats..savoring their deliciousness even days old. I’m back in AZ and I made it in there today and was blown away by the little details she puts into curating the space. I know how much time and effort goes into what looks like a simple, warm and welcoming little bake shop (and it’s not easy!). Everything from the trinkets to the treats were phenomenal. I had to practice some restraint and got 5 different things to taste over the next day (let’s be honest they won’t last long). I’m just thrilled to be able to see this little bake shop thrive..you’re doing great y’all! p.s. my grandma said that was the best shortbread she’s ever tasted!
August 13 · Rochelle SanchezThe baby loved her brontosaurus cookie shaped chocolate chip muffin. I had a small bite and it was delicious. The cheesecake, dare I say, is better than Costco's. I know that's a bold statement, but it was ridiculously good, creamy cheesecake, and the homemade honey graham cracker crust was the best I've had, second to my aunt's. The lemonade I had was very good, low sugar. The baby loves her dino coloring book and her sticker with a dinosaur pen.
March 01 · BOSS HOGGSo, So good. For me, this is the best pastry chef in the valley - all of the cookies and cakes are crazy good and original. I wish it was closer - I would get my fix every day if I could. The sandwich options are fantastic too - the tomatoes on the tomato sandwich were fresh and tasty. If you are nearby, just go. It is basically a pickup place - so be aware of that when visiting.
July 24 · Steve KThese sweet tears are fantastic! I went here with my husband and my mom, and we grabbed banana bread, a dinosaur sugar cookie, an oatmeal cookie, some churrovers, a slice of the lemon pie, and a slice of the key lime pie. The key lime was so spectacular! I really wish I got more of that. My step-dad absolutely devoured it after I got to try a bite. It made me happy to see him enjoying food so much since he has had a really hard time enjoying food as of late.
