White Rabbit Bakery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
White Rabbit Bakery, nestled in the historic charm of Aurora, Oregon, is much more than a traditional sweet shop. It operates as a full-service, women-owned 'Bakery' and cafe, offering a surprisingly extensive menu that goes well beyond baked goods to include full breakfast and lunch options. The establishment is particularly distinguished in the Willamette Valley for its commitment to inclusivity and dietary flexibility, proudly identifying as an LGBTQ+ friendly and Transgender safespace.
The core offerings provide an inviting mix of savory and sweet, emphasizing the use of quality ingredients. Patrons can start their day with one of several specialty Breakfast Sandwiches, such as the unique Ham And Pineapple or the spicy Pickled Pepper, served until 11:00 AM. As the day progresses, the menu shifts to a robust selection of Lunch Sandwiches, including customer favorites like the Pastrami, Gouda Apple, and the fully vegetarian Herbivore option. Alongside these savory selections, the bakery maintains a strong reputation for its wide array of baked items, most notably featuring numerous gluten-free and sometimes dairy-free/vegan pastries that customers consistently describe as "delicious" and "incredibly delicious." The dedication to quality extends to their beverage program, which includes Organic Drip Coffee, a full espresso bar (Latte, Mocha, Americano), and an impressive variety of Loose Leaf Tea selections, from invigorating White Teas like Haiku Peach to comforting Herbal Teas such as Dark Forest and Vanilla Rooibos. This unique combination of specialty diets, high-quality food, and a distinctly welcoming atmosphere makes White Rabbit Bakery an essential destination for local Oregon users.

June 06 · Dawn FitzgeraldWe were pleasantly surprised to find this cute little bakery out in Aurora. A great stop before checking out all the thrift shops. Their menu has several gluten free options which are incredibly delicious. There was a bit of a wait on the drinks but it’s worth it. Take care parking as it’s right off a main road and tough to see.
August 19 · Richard CarradineI remember my first coffee. I was 4 years old, and my mom ordered some sort of latte. Boy was it delicious. I swiped it off her when she wasn’t looking, and drank the whole thing down while watching my favorite show, Winnie the Pooh. The episode where rabbit and Pooh start running honey illegally across the hundred acre woods. Everyone was lit, including owl. Come to think of it I’m not sure it was really just coffee I was drinking. Nevertheless, it was sure delicious. Now that Bonnie’s coffee shop is permanently closed, it’s time to find another go to coffee joint. Bonnie was a such a gem. We’ll miss her. Now it’s time to try white rabbit. I really do love the name, reminds me of my favorite character from the previously mentioned show. I believe rabbit won an Oscar for that performance. Can’t wait to try the coffee. As soon as I return from North Africa, I’ll drop by and give it a try.
September 27 · Dalen HargettOne of our few favorite restaurants that not only survived COVID, but didn’t drop their quality after. I not only love this place, but I’m grateful for it. The best gluten free bread I’ve ever had, but pretty much everything is amazing. No photos because we gobbled everything up too quickly. :)
June 06 · dara pfisterA truly incredible and delicious bakery and cafe. Just a few minutes off Interstate 5, this is one of your best options between Seattle and San Francisco for great breakfasts, lunches, baked goods, coffee, and arguably some of the best gluten free food in the west if not the country. My wife and I enjoy any of their bake goods but our favorites are the GF cinnamon rolls and Marionberry muffins. We love the apple and gouda with ham, and the Turkey with cranberry sandwiches.I travel for a living and seek out locally owned establishments. White Rabbit continues to be an exemplary locally and family owned and operated restaurant that always impresses us with their creativity, quality, and service.
