First time trying in the States. Tried the 85 degree coffee and enjoyed it. Good balance of coffee flavor, sugar, and dairy. The dining room is currently shut down because A/C is broken. Kind of a strange setup for ordering but very good variety of baked items.

Pastries are exactly what you’d expect from a mainstream Chinese bakery—small, a bit oily, lightly sweet, and easy to eat, but honestly kind of boring. The selection is large, the shop is clean and busy, and the vibe is nice, but nothing really jumped out or got me excited. I picked two items that looked promising; they turned out just okay. If you’re already in the mall, it’s a convenient spot for a quick snack, but not really a destination.

85°C is a famous bakery with roots in America from the west coast that has begun its eastward expansion, with this location being recently opened within the Tangram mall.The store opens quite early, but they have many breads and pastries in stock and constantly have them refilled. They have many unique and staple breads, such as ham and cheese sandwiches, egg tarts, roll cakes, salt buns, bacon and cheese, croissants, and more.The croissants were good, had a nice peanut garnish that went well with the chocolate. The matcha roll cake was alright, had red beans inside the dough which went well with the cake, but overall didn't have much of a taste beyond the cream. The rest of the bread was pretty standard, but of good quality.

This is a Taiwanese bakery called 85°C Bakery Café, located inside the Tangram Mall in Flushing🍞☕️They serve coffee along with a variety of desserts, including their popular pineapple cakes. There’s also a dine-in area where you can sit down and enjoy your treats.
