★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I purchased their rolls, many times over ar Market Basket. I went to make a couple of meatball sandwiches tonight and the rolls are covered with mold, with a date of 5-24 on the bag.
May 23 · Jake JachymThe bread is ridiculously good and the woman who works there is wonderfully helpful. She even called another bakery to help us find something we were looking for that she was out of and have us directions how to get there. The biggest loaf of bread I've ever bought cost $2.50! And it was so good that we drove 90 minutes a week later to go buy more.
August 23 · Emily HarrisonNice place. Get there in the morning for best pastries.
March 30 · Todd LizotteThe best Portuguese Bread. I usually buy at Amaral's central market at the same price as Afonso bakery. I buy a few bags and store them in the freezer since I live in Warwick, RI. Best with Portuguese Kale soup, chourico meat, stuffing, etc.
April 04 · James GouveiaThe bakery makes a phenomenal Portuguese hard roll, 8 inch and 12 inch sandwich bread like those for Italian sub's and chorico and fries sandwiches etc. and other types of breads and a small amount of other tasty treats. But the parking sucks and you can only park in one direction aprox. 80 feet to a corner on a tight narrow two way street. Otherwise one of the best (popsucks) hard rolls anywhere.
