★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a wonderful experience at this bakery. The pastries are absolutely delicious, fresh, and noticeably free from the overly sweet artificial taste you often find in American style treats. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. I would recommend sticking to the chilled items though, as the warm options were not quite hot enough for my liking. The cakes are truly exceptional and definitely a must try. Especially the apple one.
July 07 · - EdrichI paid $9 for a “pimento pretzel croissant.” I’ve traveled and been to some incredible bakeries, and $9 usually gets you the best of the best. Most expensive pastries run around $6–7.At the farmer’s market, there were no prices listed. I ordered the croissant, and before I even had a chance to react, she said it was $9. I paid, tried it, and it was stale—absolutely not worth the price.I went back to share my disappointment, and the only response I got was, “Well, they were made this morning.” That was it. Terrible customer service.Do not waste your money. I can’t speak on the storefront, but the farmer’s market experience was subpar. If you’re charging like it’s the best of the best, the product should come close. This was nowhere near.
August 24 · chloe ehrlichGermany Bakery in Cary is a hidden gem! Fresh bread, delicious pastries, and authentic German treats. Plus, it's a great spot to meet friends or study—cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be back! (With these beautiful treats, we hope to have more beverage options to enjoy with the pastries, like cappuccino…)
May 05 · Fulla ElClean, friendly, and a lovely selection! The staff is kind and greet you when you walk in, they don’t check in every 2 seconds to see if you’re done. The small seating area is adorable, and the atmosphere is charming. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained as well! My husband is from Germany and was so happy to see genuine German desserts!
August 23 · HannahAnnelore’s German bakery was one of the best bakeries I have tried in Cary. Very classy customer service and an aesthetic interior. Luke did a perfect job and I liked his suggestion a lot. Will definitely come back!!
