It was a great trip to visit Ava's cup cake shop. Although small it is Big on cup cakes, cookies, flavor and service. It was worth the hour plus drive for the treats in this business. A nationally recognized business that lives up to its reputation.

I had been wanting to try them out and I finally did!!! A post on facebook officially sealed the deal lol. If you don’t like all the dough that comes with cinnamon rolls then this is perfect for you. It really just melt in your mouth and was so light, very on the sweet side. The macaron was amazing as well with a strong lemon flavor where I felt I was eating “lemonade” flavoring. . It had a small amount of jam in the inside. Definitely will be back!

We frequent Ava's since they are one of the few bakeries locally that sell gluten-free cupcakes. Most of the cupcakes I've had from here have been nothing short of delicious. They taste like homemade cupcakes, but better! The gluten-free selection is fairly decent -- I do wish there was a bigger selection (like carrot cake *hint hint*).The rest of my family is not gluten-free, and have enjoyed everything they have tried so far. I hope they will have a gluten-free pumpkin spiced cupcake in the fall!!!

2nd stop: great deluxe cookie. Lots of choices for everything.Stopped in to Ava's Cupcakes to try some of their award winning treats. Place looks great inside with the display of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and hand pies. There is limited seating inside and the staff was very nice. The cupcakes were delicious with a lot of icing and some kind of filling, and the cookies were good. I look forward to trying more treats!
