★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1OMG! BEST Bagels ever! They deserve 10 stars! So, I ate a bagel a day for five days for real! I started with a salt bagel toasted with butter, unreal! Perfect chew factor! Then a plain bagel, toasted, topped with butter and their jelly. Again, so good I did a happy dance in my kitchen. Truth be told, while I was toasting the plain bagel, and dancing, I actually ate another half of a bagel, room temp, the olive oil one while preparing the other one. Don't judge... I swear these bagels are addictive! The next day I had a mini bagel toasted with their whipped cream cheese. Then I thought, I can't eat a bagel every day for breakfast.....So I had one for dinner! The Sesame Seed Bagel Cheese Burger, RIDICULOUS! The Bagel with the burger and toppings was so good. The Bagel put this burger over the top! These Bagels are light, soft, crispy and chewy with a delicious flavor, different from any other bagel I have ever had. I enjoyed building and eating the Bagel Burger pictured below.
June 08 · Lisa PesciI have made this place apart of my Friday routine before work every week. I could talk about it all day, so I will try to keep this concise!I have gluten intolerance and the kind where my stomach can tolerate sourdough breads due to the fermentation process. Upon discovering this around the same time Bagel-ish opened, I HAD to try it. I hadn’t had a real bagel in years! These bagels are better than the above described “real” bagels. The texture is amazing every time and this stays consistent. Their selection of unique flavors keeps the experience fun. My favorite is the Aleppo pepper. Yesterday, 7/4, the owner made a pomegranate and blueberry bagel for the holiday. Once again, never disappoints.Aside from the amazing bagels, you are always greeted by lively, welcoming staff or the wonderful owner, Beth. I love a business where the owner is there maintaining the place because you know they put their heart into everything they do. Beth sparks a true, authentic conversation with everybody who walks through the door. Through her social media, she has brought such a personal side to the business that makes the customer feel connected. She even has an account featuring the dogs of Bagel-ish! I wish I knew the name of the girl working Friday mornings/noonish, she is always great.Overall, Bagel-ish has been a perfect addition to Main St in Beacon. Between great selection, incredible quality, and outstanding service, I could not recommend swinging by and trying it out enough. **These pictures are not very high quality because they were sent to my parents or partner showing them how excited I was for my Friday bagel. :)
July 05 · Alyssa DanielleDeliciousness! The bagels here are not like your normal bagel shop! They are an incredible sourdough bagel- sound good? It is an absolute treat- this place is not your cheap eat bagel experience- you can taste the quality of ingredients and their bagel recipe is not like anything out there— highly recommend. Not cheap to eat here sesame bagel with cream cheese is $6.50 but it is a great treat- as a consumer of a lot of food from small businesses in the Hudson River Valley it is not possible to make great food for cheap here due to high costs of quality ingredients, high rent and labor prices— so important to remember that. Highly recommend. Super creative bagel sandwiches and bagel flavors- cream cheese is perfect- not too airy not too thick— it was the right balance.
July 13 · Jea YorkThe bagels here were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! We are from Long Island NY and we do not take our bagels lightly. Never did we think we would find THE MOST DELICIOUS bagels we have had in our entire lives in upstate New York, but Bagel-ish was it! 10/10Do not miss out on this bagel experience. The rosemary bagel…chef’s kiss 💋
July 13 · Cherise GeraciExcellent bagels from Tim and Beth. We are big sourdough enthusiasts and this place is worthy of a drive to stock up on bagels. It really is that good. We tried the cheddar bagels and they have us eager to travel back to Beacon to get more. The bagels are terrific and the owners are just as great. Wishing them much continued success and with Beth as a world bagel consultant, I’m confident that’ll happen :)
