I had a pretty disappointing experience at the Baked by Melissa location in Roosevelt Field Mall. The sales associate, Alejandra, was unfortunately not helpful or welcoming. She seemed uninterested in answering questions and acted like I was bothering her by simply ordering. Customer service is a big part of what makes the Baked by Melissa experience enjoyable, so it was surprising and honestly off-putting. I love the cupcakes, but I left feeling frustrated. Hopefully, this was just a one-off, but it really affected the vibe of the visit.

I drove an hour to go here. It’s really unfortunate because I’ve had baked by Melissa cupcakes at JFK and they were so good. At the mall there was only 6 available flavors and the girl took one batch away because she said they were not edible. The remaining cupcakes I got did not taste fresh at all. They looked and tasted like they were sitting there for a few days. 45$ down the drain did not sit right with me.

The only reason why I wanted to buy cupcakes was because the gift bag on display was appealing. The birthday gift bag was $3.00. However, customer service is HORRIBLE. I was attended by Nyasia C. on 3/25/23 at 2:15 PM. She was astonishingly rude and literally threw the bag at me. First time buying. Never ever buying again. Owner should know. Hire better staff. Especially people who are willingly to give good customer service (there are people out there). Business is definitely lost when having poor employees.

Extremely frustrating. I placed an order online for delivery and paid for expedited shipping. Not only did the expedited delivery arrive three days late, but the package was hot, damp, damaged, and the cupcakes were somewhat melted. Nobody has gotten back to me yet from the company, despite repeated calls, and I would warn anyone from ordering from this company.
