★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This a cozy little place in Madrona, acting as a nice hole in the wall cafe to chill and get a nice cup of coffee. I especially liked their selection of confectionary items displayed in the front.Overall, it’s a nice regional cafe with about average coffee.
March 22 · EthanI picked up a salted caramel cream pie from the Metropolitan Market in Tacoma the other day and was blown away by the flavor! I wish that I could try it for the first time again and again because that first bite can only be described as bliss on a fork. The salted caramel pie was creamy and smooth with a slight hint of saltiness that brought out all of the decadent flavors. I also loved how light the pie and piped whip cream was - and thought it paired perfectly with the graham cracker crust.I could spend years trying to recreate the moment of bliss I experienced in that first bite, so I simply must have Belle Epicurean on retainer to chase that moment forever.
August 19 · julia batesI highly recommend! I just recently got married 9/6/25 and instead of one giant obnoxious wedding cake I wanted individual cakes to be given out to the guests of my very small wedding party of 45. I reached out to Belle Epicurean when I discovered they have these baby cakes! A gorgeous mini two layer cake. If you've ever planned an event you can imagine how stressful it can be let alone your own wedding. Carolyn contacted me (who I later discovered is the owner) she was very delightful to work with. Every interaction was very genuine. It was clear to me she had my best interest in mind and the success of my event was also her focus. This allowed me to put complete full trust that they would deliver and they did! The cake she had suggested was an exclusive seasonal flavor however she allowed me to conduct a tasting of 4 different cake flavors. When I went to the bakery location regardless how busy they were the staff was very nice very professional! I myself work in customer service so I take that very seriously and they did not disappoint. I told them who I was and they knew exactly what I was there for which made for an easy pickup! Though all the cakes were delicious the seasonal flavor was a clear winner. After solidifying my order I did not have to worry. The cakes were delivered on time and the presentation was absolutely STUNNING!! I whole heartedly regret not taking a photo! I received so many compliments regarding that cake even weeks after my wedding. It made me very proud! Thank you so much to Carolyn and her staff for delivering the excellence and the quality, words can not express my gratitude!Ps. and if you're wondering what the flavor of the cake was..... peach lavender!
September 17 · Anthony AguonDirty floors, slow service despite multiple staff only on really doing anything. Price point is way off. The audacity to charge $14 for a sandwich that is evidently soggy and not toasted.
February 15 · Andy MayNice outdoor seating area. I decided to randomly stop by since I saw their sidewalk sign. There is also some seating inside. They have wifi. The barista takes their time making drinks. The pistachio pastry was a bit dense and a bit bland. If I am in the neighborhood I would come back but won't make a trip for it. There is also a bit of construction on the road in this area.
