Like everything everywhere, prices have gone up but at Bob's Bagels the portions and attention to orders has gone down. Last week I ordered a pumpernickel with chicken salad and when I got home it was literally half the amount of chicken salad I usually get on the bagel. I don't mind paying a little more to get a good product, which theirs is .. very good. Then this week, I ordered a light sesame bagel with butter and got it home to find hardly any butter. This is not okay. I am hesitant to return because I do not think there is a concern for customer service is non-existent .. the girl always at the register has an attitude like she is bothered that customers show up. It's a shame because they have one of the best bagels around and the selection is excellent .. They always have enough of everything but cheaping out on portions is not the way to retain customers.

I come to Bob’s Bagels often. The food is good, but the service is pretty lousy. The girl at the register rarely speaks. I ordered a coffee and didn’t realize it was self-serve. She gave me my change and then I stood waiting to get my coffee. She didn’t say anything—just looked at me. When I asked, “My coffee?” she pointed behind me and said, “Over there.”This happens often. It’s always busy, and the place is disorganized. I once ordered a dozen bagels, paid, and was told to go stand by the bagels. It’s shocking how many employees behind the counter just look at you and say nothing. No “May I help you?”, “Be right with you,” or even “Are you being helped?”—nothing.This happens every time I visit, and I find it very unprofessional across all employees. Honestly, I hesitate to go in because I know I’ll be standing around waiting at least 10 minutes for my dozen bagels. It’s frustrating to be looked at directly and not even spoken to.Not to mention, the girl at the register seems more concerned with how she looks or singing along to the music playing than actually providing good service.This is the closest bagel shop after church, and my grandma loves fresh bagels. If it weren’t for her, I’d stop going.Just a tip to management: please take more control over customer service. I often see customers looking confused or waiting around for their orders.Ugh. I just really hate unpleasant service—when no one is polite, barely speaks, or even makes eye contact when handing you change or directing you. I worked in food service during my teenage years, and I now run my own business. It makes a huge difference when employees are welcoming and pleasant.Just some advice from a customer and consumer.

This place is such a disappointment since first visit a month ago. You walk in the staff is eating and drinking coffee Paying no mind to the patrons I waited until they were ready. The entitlement is beyond. The Bagels are average at best…. They were not fresh. Watch them when they put the spread in the containers they don’t fill containers. All in a rush to stand around and do nothing.The manager of this place should review best practices on service excellenceout of there right now and get a whole new staff because the representation is so poor.

I I have a concern. Every time I place an order they get it wrong. I ordered a toasted croissant with 2 pieces of bacon and one piece of American Cheese. I received a croissant not toasted with fried eggs, and 3 pieces of American Cheese. I don’t eat eggs. I went back politely asked if i could have my money back and the correct sandwich. The manager refused to make me a new sandwich because they gave me my money back . After I had to drive back all the way from home. They know it was their mistake because they looked at my order. They were horrible and treated me like I was wrong. Then to top it off I get home and my Husband’s sandwich was completely wrong too. I suggest you check your order before leaving the store. Better yet don’t waste your money and time… Go somewhere else for your Bagels and sandwiches.

And the coffee section is clean and well organized. Menu seems very affordable. I love that this breakfast sandwich didn’t cost me an arm and a leg and then serve me an arm and a leg on a roll. I want a breakfast sandwich. Not a four course meal. If you wanted you could buy two of these for the price of one in other places and did I mention how clean it is? Attention to detail is great. I’m sitting having my breakfast on a private patio with well kept flower pots in a neighbor type setting yet with a nice privacy hedge row. Great find! Stop in and take 5 or 10 minutes to sit and eat your breakfast in a really comfortable, and did I mention really clean, setting.
