Bresnan is one of our favorite bakeries to go to in DFW. It has a great location in McKinney Square where you can walk up to it from anywhere there. They usually sell out pretty quick on the weekends and there's always a line but it's definitely worth it to get there early. Our favorite things to get are the seasonal danishes. Yuzu citrus, blueberry, and pistachio are among our go-tos. They have the best sourdough we've had here. We go for the country sour (oval) and the inside is very airy and springy while the crust is very crunchy. It has the perfect balance and tastes so good straight up or toasted with butter and honey. It's always a great experience going here and it really does feel like a European neighborhood bakery serving up high-quality pastries and breads with a Texas twist. - James
