Bruegger’s Bagels steps in to fill that need, offering an authentic taste of New York-style bagels right here in St. Paul. This national chain is built on a tradition of serving fresh, kettle-boiled bagels, a process that ensures a distinct shiny crust and the chewy, satisfying inside that sets a true bagel apart.
Located within the busy nexus of MSP, this Bruegger’s location is specifically tailored to the demanding pace of air travel. It provides a quick-service, yet consistently high-quality, product that caters perfectly to travelers. It’s a familiar, trusted name that brings a comforting, hearty meal to an environment often dominated by rushed schedules and fast food.
**Location and Accessibility: Found in the Heart of MSP Terminal 1**
The Bruegger’s Bagels shop is located within the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, placing it conveniently for travelers passing through Terminal 1 (often referred to as the Lindbergh Terminal). This location is post-security, making it an ideal spot for ticketed passengers to grab a meal before reaching their gate.
The exact address is: 4300 Glumack Dr, St Paul, MN 55111, USA.
While the airport is inherently a large facility, Bruegger's is typically situated in a high-traffic area, often near concourses or the central mall area of Terminal 1, ensuring maximum convenience. As a modern, large-venue concession, accessibility is a priority to serve the wide range of travelers passing through:
- Wheelchair accessible entrance: The entryway is designed for smooth and easy access for all mobility types.
- Wheelchair accessible parking lot: All associated parking structures for MSP Terminal 1 include designated accessible parking spaces.
The focus on a "Quick visit" means that this shop is optimized for patrons who need to eat and move on quickly, which is a significant factor for travelers operating on a tight timeline.

**Features / Highlights**
Bruegger’s Bagels distinguishes itself with a commitment to traditional preparation methods and quality ingredients, creating a unique product line that has garnered national attention.
Key features and highlights of the menu and brand include:
- Authentic Kettle-Boiled Bagels: The signature product, made using a time-honored process of kettle-boiling the dough before baking, which is credited with achieving the shiny crust and delightfully chewy interior.
- Five Simple Ingredients: Bagels are made using only five core, high-quality ingredients: flour, water, yeast, malt, and salt, upholding a classic NY-style tradition.
- Smoked Salmon Sandwich (Lox): A highly popular and well-regarded deli option featuring cold smoked salmon, plain cream cheese, red onions, capers, and tomatoes on a kettle-boiled bagel, noted by patrons as a high-quality, filling choice.
- Vermont-Made Cream Cheese: Offering a variety of signature, thick cream cheese flavors crafted in Vermont, which serves as the ideal pairing for their authentic bagels.
- Signature Breakfast Sandwiches: A robust selection of breakfast sandwiches featuring fresh-cracked, cage-free eggs, and premium ingredients like peppered bacon, ham, and various cheeses, often on Cheesy Hash Brown or other gourmet bagel options.

**What is Worth Choosing Bruegger’s Bagels**
For Minnesota locals and visitors passing through MSP, choosing Bruegger’s Bagels is a choice for authentic quality and efficiency. The primary and most compelling reason to choose this shop is the genuine New York-style bagel, which provides a far superior texture and flavor profile than standard store-bought or soft bakery rounds. The kettle-boiling process is a commitment to a craft that results in an unmistakably satisfying “crunch” and chew, which stands out as a high point in airport food options.
While the airport setting and high volume can sometimes lead to rushed or inconsistent service experiences—a challenge noted in some customer feedback regarding toasting and cream cheese application—the core product remains solid. The menu offers great versatility, ranging from the light simplicity of a Plain Bagel with cream cheese to the complexity of a rich Smoked Salmon or a hearty Farmhouse Breakfast sandwich. It provides a complete, filling, and reliable breakfast or lunch solution in a grab-and-go format, perfectly suited for the quick transit needs of the MSP traveler. For those seeking real, kettle-boiled quality, a wide selection of savory and sweet cream cheeses, and a meal that will carry you through your journey, Bruegger’s Bagels is an excellent, quick choice in St. Paul’s busy airport landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Solid 4, loved this place!Service is fast, I think the staff at this location knows how to streamline the process for efficiency. I heard some people say they were unfriendly, but the staff was calm and focused at such busy time. Very smooth with troubleshooting when ingredients had ran out.Their smoked salmon sandwich with asiago bagel was great! Cold smoked salmon, red onions, capers, tomatoes and Plain Cream Cheese on a kettle-boiled bagel with Asiago. Creamy, cheesy, and the salmon was good. Filling.Chai latte was creamy.Chocolate chip cookie had crusty dough and nice gooey chocolate pockets. Not my favourite, but pretty good.Only note is, the ordering kiosk requires patience, and might be confusing to split the sandwiches into different groups depending on where you’re seeing the menu.- On the website categories are: breakfast, lunch, and bagels & cream cheese.- On the ordering kiosk in store: breakfast, signature, lunch.- On the board: classic, signature, and sandwiches.
July 13 · Nara EEvery time I go to a Brueggers in an airport I’m disappointed. Employees fail to toast bagel and fail to distribute cream cheese effectively. It’s really not hard to toast a bagel and put cream cheese on it. It wasn’t busy at all.I was even blessed with a black hair in my bagel this time.
February 21 · B JayUtterly disgusting. The coffee was super gross and the sausage egg and cheese on toasted bagel was without doubt the nastiest, most disgusting breakfast sandwich I’ve ever known. Don’t waste $14 to consume a truly disgusting disappointing breakfast bagel. The sausage, egg and cheese look completely fake and most likely made from synthetic chemicals. Literally want to throw up in my mouth. Never again. Yuck!🤢🤮🤢🤮🤮🤮
September 03 · J JGarbage service, food and coffee are even worse than the service. Bagel was super moist and flapping around. Ordered an iced coffee that came black (in Canada it isn’t like this when you order coffee), but the best part was that it tasted like a bitter, watered down coffee bean 🤣🤣Save your money and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE!
August 17 · Carla GomesI confirmed twice before taking it that it was my food and drink order. Got coffee instead of the chai I ordered and a raisin bagel with plain cream cheese instead of the sesame with strawberry that I wanted. Total fail on your part keeping the orders organized and knowing what goes with what. Was at my gate before I realized so it’s now all in the trash. You need a better system of labeling and verifying your orders because I bet there is another unhappy person who got my order.
