Cachito Latin American Bakery Introduce
Cachito Latin American Bakery: A True Taste of Venezuela in Central Florida
For those in the Florida community searching for a genuine taste of Latin American—specifically Venezuelan—cuisine, the arrival of Cachito Latin American Bakery in Lakeland is a significant and welcome addition. More than just a place to grab a quick bite, Cachito serves as a culinary and cultural hub, promising a sensory experience that begins the moment you step through the door. As one customer enthusiastically noted, “the place smells amazing, my mouth started watering!” This bakery is centered around bringing the rich, savory, and sweet flavors of Venezuela to the heart of Central Florida, filling a necessary niche for authentic international cuisine.
The bakery is named after its signature item, the Cachito, a beloved Venezuelan pastry akin to a soft, slightly sweet crescent roll, traditionally filled with savory ham or sometimes cheese. Beyond the famous namesake, Cachito offers a full array of Latin American bakery staples, including sweet arepitas and various empanadas. It is important to note that while the desire for these authentic items is high among local Venezuelan and Latin American communities, there have been some initial reports concerning order accuracy, as one reviewer mentioned receiving pastelitos instead of empanadas, prompting a request for a refund. While this points to the potential for operational adjustments during busy periods, the underlying demand for the bakery's authentic offerings highlights its critical role in the community.
Beyond its culinary offerings, Cachito stands out as a proudly Black-owned, Latino-owned, and women-owned establishment, fostering an environment of inclusivity. The business has clearly signaled its commitment to being a welcoming space by identifying as both LGBTQ+ friendly and a Transgender safespace. This dedication to community and quality makes Cachito Latin American Bakery an essential destination for Floridians seeking both delicious food and a supportive, diverse local business to frequent.

Cachito Latin American Bakery Reviews
the place smells amazing, my mouth started Watering! 😋😋😋😋
October 29 · Chris ClagueWe ordered sweet arepitas, three empanadas, and one cachito. We couldn't eat because they didn't give me my order correctly. They mysteriously sent me three pastelitos with the correct flavors. If they didn't have empanadas, they should have said so. Just like with the sweet arepitas, I don't even know what they sent me. Very sad because I was happy they opened a Venezuelan restaurant in Lakeland. I'm already asking for a refund.
September 17 · Luisana SerranoWhat I bought was divine. I hope to return soon and try all their Venezuelan delicacies.
