★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I liked it! I got some as a gift so I didn’t visit the actual store. All time favorite thing here was the strawberry pastry (if the business replies; please just say the name of that one) SO good. I would come back for that. Fantastic. Fluffy and light and airy with a perfectly sweetened cream fluff inside. Wow.Corn cheese bread was sooo fun. If it’s served warm; I bet you it’s fantastic but I did eat it a couple of hours after it was ordered. The fig bread had an amazing texture to it. Light and fluffy like Portuguese bread (I did personally wish the figs were cut smaller to enjoy more evenly but that’s personal preference)The variety of stuff was really fun! Some things I did not like at all but my friends did so that was just personal preference.
June 14 · Nicole B GarciaWas not impressed at all by the pastries that we got. The chocolate croissant had a small bar of chocolate in the middle that was rock solid and not enjoyable, would have been better if the chocolate was folded into the layers. The other 2 pastries were mediocre at best. Don’t remember the name of the 3 mound one, which for some reason was slathered in sugar water and sticky but the cream on top wasn’t sweet at all, I guess they were trying to balance the sweetness but it didn’t work in my opinion. The other croissant was a sesame seed with raspberry filling which was fine, nothing crazy. Ambient was nice. Limited parking. We came when there weren’t too many options. Maybe that was our mistake, but either way we won’t be back.
February 11 · Rachell RosalesWould go back for their Oni-Croissants!FAMILY FRIENDLY: YesPARKING: Tiny tiny parking lot… like 5 parking spaces in front of there cafePET FRIENDLY: NoFOOD:Plain Croissant $4.25: 5 Stars – Flaky, buttery, and oh so goodHam and Cheese Croissant $4.75: 3 Stars – Needs more filling and not as great as plain croissantOni-Croissant: Mayo and Pollack Roe $6.50: 5 Stars – maybe because I had low expectation since most filled anything thing doesn’t come with a lot. There was definitely plenty of filling in this! I love the idea of this which was the reason I wanted to try this place. The exterior was good but because it was compressed it wasn’t as flaky as a normal croissant.Oni-Croissant: Chive, Bacon, and cream cheese $6.50: 5 Stars – Fillings galore!! Still loved it even though this was a touch too creamy which is funny coming from me.Garlic Butter Baguette $7.50: 3 Stars – I grabbed this as it was something I always wanted to try due to all those viral videos. There was a touch of sweetness which I did not enjoy. I like my savory to be savory. Everyone else seem to really like it though!Burnt Basque Cheesecake $8.00: 5 Stars - Creamy and custardy! I only had Basque cheesecake once and I didn’t enjoy it. I got this on a whim to see if the one I had previously was just poorly made or if I just hate all Basque cheesecake.Earl Greg Cassis Mousse (layer of earl grey chestnut cream, cassis confit, earl grey mousse and biscuit) $12.55: 3 Stars – I mean look at it! It looks so perfect and unassuming. I love chestnut and black current/cassis so I was really excited. Which probably was why I was a little disappointed. There was different texture like it should in an entremets but the lack of chestnut and earl grey was very lacking.DRINK:Black Sesame Cream Latte, Hot $6.75: I’ve been on a hunt for good black sesame cream latte but sadly I need to keep looking. Barely taste the black sesame.MENU, RESTAURANT, and SERVICE:The offering at the café did not have everything shown on their website. The majority of the café is self service for the bakery items but you would need to order from them for any of the refrigerated items (cakes) and coffees. The restaurant is pretty spacious for how little tables they have set up. I believe they have a second floor but I have not been up there. Very clean and minimalistic. There was only one person I spoke with and he was friendly and helpful.
March 03 · Linda ChongHad some time to kill so we popped in to see what kind of baked goods they had. There was a bunch of assortment of breads, mousse and cookies. We picked up 3 different types of bread. The Castella Cream Salted bread was soft which I like. The cream was tasty and the crunchies on top gave it some texture. The bread itself was so-so. Second item was a Bacon Chive Cronigiri. It was sweet and savory but it was very hard. Third item was a Garlic Cheese Butter Bread. It was very garlicky and sweet. Did not like it at all... All in all I'm not sure if I would go back since everything was so pricy and it was just OK.
July 11 · Serena ECute cafe. They have a downstairs and upstairs. Good place to study. However, large groups do come in and talk, so keep that in mind. Their pastries are all fresh and it looks delicious. I have tried a couple and went back for more the next day. They also have cool lattes. I've tried the black sesame ice latte.
