Capy Tres Leches Cake is more than just a bakery; it's a specialized dessert shop that stakes its claim on a beloved Latin American classic. The name itself signals a singular dedication to the Tres Leches cake, a spongy cake soaked in three kinds of milk (evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whole milk), often topped with whipped cream and fruit. For locals, this means a focused menu designed to deliver on this specific, popular dessert. While customer experiences can vary, as with any establishment, Capy aims to provide a distinct dessert experience, offering a modern and inviting space for patrons to indulge in their sweet cravings. Its presence in Corona adds another layer to the area's rich tapestry of international cuisines, offering a taste of Latin American sweetness right in the heart of Queens.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Went for two slices of cake, I got a dulce de leche slice and a peach slice. The woman that was in the front could not be bothered to answer which slice was which and very judgmental to whoever came through the door, rolling her eyes to a coworker when she saw a lady that was overweight and making signs to her. When we got home and tried the dulce the leche cake it was dry, but the peach cake was worse it was rancid, I had to spit it out. Terrible in everything, there are many capy locations do set foot on this one.
June 16 · Angelica HernandezThe decor of Capy is modern, warm and clean with brilliant red color. The staff was friendly, welcoming and introduced their desserts with passion. However, the options were limited in the evening. We visited at around 7pm and they ran out all Tres Leches Cakes but a slice of Peach flavor. We got the last slice of the peach tres leches cake and a cup of cappuccino flan.We are fans of tres leches cakes but theirs wasn’t our type. The cake was kind of dry and the icing was too artificially sweet. We were disappointed and not willing to try again. The flan was decent, creamy, which is much worthier to get than the cakes.
July 26 · Hsin Yi WeiGreat service and yummy cakes. It was very light and not incredibly sweet. Was my first time trying Capy. I tried the new red velvet cake and the coconut one. But I personally like my tres leches sweeter and heavier which is the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars. I would definitely get it again but it wouldn’t necessarily be my go to place for tres leches in the future.
February 18 · AniDelicious tres leches cakes. I ordered the chocolate for my daughter's birthday and it came out beautiful. Everyone loved it. The frosting is light and not too sweet. Will definitely buy again.
March 23 · Katya EWalking in the area, stopped and said let me check this out. I didn't realize all the cake slices were tres leches cake based. I got the cookies and cream. It wasn't too sweet, flavorful. The texture of the cake slice was on point. Chilled and definitely worth it to come back and try more options. Worth it!
