## What is Worth Choosing
Choosing Colombian Baker is worthwhile for Utah locals seeking a genuine culinary adventure and a departure from standard American bakery fare. This Taylorsville spot provides a unique opportunity to explore authentic Colombian flavors, which are often characterized by their use of cornmeal, cheese, and tropical fruits like guava.
For the curious user, this bakery offers a chance to try items highly recommended by patrons, such as the croissant with guava and cheese, which received a '10/10' endorsement in a local review. This focus on specialty items and the introduction of new flavors to the Utah market is a major draw.
However, potential customers should be aware that, like many small and specialized businesses, the experience can vary. While one customer highly praised the recommendations and found the staff helpful, another mentioned a disappointing experience with customer service and a lack of labeling on products. Customers approaching this as an authentic, unique, family-style establishment should be prepared to ask questions about the unlabeled items, and perhaps approach their visit with patience and an open mind, ready to engage with the unique cultural products on offer.
Ultimately, the bakery is worth choosing for its authenticity, its accessible location with free parking, and its comprehensive service model, which includes a comfortable Dine-in experience. By providing a necessary taste of home for the Colombian community and an exciting new flavor profile for all Taylorsville residents, Colombian Baker remains a valuable and distinctive part of the local Utah food scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was disappointed when I came here, I was really looking forward to supporting local mom and pops place.I walked in, i wasn’t greeted. My husband is Colombian so I was pretty excited to surprise him with baked goods from back home.None of the baked goods are labeled.I started asking questions and the lady was getting annoyed. She even had the audacity to ask me if Im Colombian. (Is that a requirement? Only should be Colombian to shop there.)I said I am not Colombian but my husband is, and I want to surprise him.Well she seemed annoyed me about me asking whats in this? I wouldn’t ask if they were labeled like other bakeries are. I ordered 3 things which I had no idea what I bought. I took it home, my husband didn’t even eat them. After I told him how I was treated he said not to ever go back there again. (We live really close to this place.)Well my first time and last time going there. I guess you have to be Colombian to shop there. Being a new business I really wanted to support, but not the way I was treated or if this is the way they treat people who are not Colombian.
July 22 · Xochitl VelascoThis bakery is delicious! I didn’t know what to get so the guy working behind the counter gave me some recommendations and everything I got was great. I highly recommend the croissant with guava and cheese 10/10
September 05 · Madicyn To'aI went on for a quick grab and didn't disappoint. Got some really tasty pandebonos to take to a meeting and everyone loved them. I asked them if they had pandeyucas and they told me that they don't usually make them but if you order them in advance, they will make them for you. The owner was a very nice guy.
June 14 · Daniel RojasI had never heard of this place but we were driving by looking for a sweet treat. They were very kind to tell us about the different foods and treats offered. We got a buñuelo, arequipa with dulce de leche, a mariposa and I think the last was hojaldre with guava flavored filling. I thought they all tasted really yummy. They had a lot of other foods to offer (ham and cheese rolls, cheese bread and pan de Dios, etc). I intend to go back again.
June 25 · Destinee Xavier WhiteAuthentic Colombian bakery. Delicious breakfast and baked goods. Ham and cheese bread and pandebonos are so god.
